It hasn't been a nice winter here

What was and is the winter like in your country? Sadly here in Hungary it was rainy and everything was filled with dirt. I don't really like snow as I always have to grab a shovel but it's still better than mud and dirt. It was also surprisingly hot sometimes, even 10-15 degrees which is just unexpectedly warm. The only good thing was that there was a little snow at Christmas for 2 days or so. Whatever, I hope it'll change next year. Happy new year!

We don't get much snow here during Christmas or winter. Usually it's just a day or two of snow, and then the rest of the season would just be rain or cold.
During the fall, there was talk that it was going to be a bitter winter here. And it even started to snow in the middle of Novemeber. So I've gotten myself a set of winter tires for the car (for the first time). A week after I got the tires, it had been unusually warm! As high as 10 degrees.

Yes, the weather is changing rapidly nowadays. It feels really uncomfortable and frustrating that I feel like it's springtime in some parts yet it's still supposed to be winter. Don't worry about the tires, you never know when you'll need it.

You were the only one actually bothering to respond (since now) so I thought I would give it to you. :)

Hi Tibor, Here in Atlantic Canada, we have seen very little winter so far. January, Febuary and March are our coldest months and the time when we get the most storms. I'm hoping this will be a mid winter with less snow and storms than usual. Happy New Year to you and yours my friend. Blessings.

I heard there are some heavy snowfalls there in AC, you're lucky you did not have to deal with it until now.
