All ALONE "watching Fireworks"

Philippines
December 31, 2011 10:44am CST
Hello Lotters, First off, I wanted to greet every one happy NEW YEAR. the reason why probably I wasn't in the mood mylotting during the last few days because I wanted to start over on the new year's eve. things are looking up for us a bit. luckily we have a second floor w/ out a roof yet I've decided to look around, it was beautiful and i couldn't stop watching it for 30 minutes to an hour, best view than any one else who are on the ground and on the road watching neighbors fireworks. though it's less than fireworks now compare to the last few years. it was a best view. but the sad part is, I was alone watching the scene. my moms asleep, she needed to rest for the new year's morning mass. I hope you had a nice New year Celebration! Have a nice day

Hello Balodji, That is something I didn't do this year, resolutions is something that can be broken like promises. If am going to make a resolution, it's going to be a lot of determination and passion to get it all done. Wow, if you're making a book, make sure that you make a discussion here and let us know about your book. have a nice day.

Hi LK, Happy New Year, I had a very nice new year's eve, i'm with my family and some relatives they spent their new year with us. We don't have fireworks so we just watching the fireworks outside and yes its less than fireworks this year than any other year and i bought a few days ago a balloon that we used as a fireworks we popped the balloon to make the noisy sound. Hoping also a freshest start this year.. Though you are alone to spent your new year, its seemed quite well that you enjoyed watching fireworks by your self. Have blessed new year to you..

hi knight happy new year to you, i had my best new year so far coz i was able to be with my family as i used to be at work during new years eve before due to the kind of work i have. one thing also was that i able to talk to my ex last new year though just through chat but its ok than not at all, i dont know if you still remember me the girl who got pregnant with no job and the father of my child left me and guess what, for almost 2 years we finally talk though we didnt meet yet in person, but then i will still say that im happy coz after so many years of having hard time and pain, i can now say that i am now started to smile with all my heart as i know that everything will now be fine..

I had a great time watching the fireworks too. From the 2nd floor patio we had a view of the ENTIRE city and all the lights, fireworks and festivities. How do you not have a second floor roof by the way?

HAPPY NEW YEAR. I've also been enjoying the magnificent display of fireworks outside my matriarch home that sent loud explosions and brightened the dark sky with the residual droplets of fireworks in multiple colors. Another year has gone and hope the new year bring a lot of goodness to us all.

Hello Dragon4u, I think you have Celebrated New year at this moment, lucky for Australia they got to celebrate it first before we did. It's sad though we can't celebrate new year at the same time that one country got to experience it first. my 2012 is full of hope and determination. have a nice day.

Hello LetranKnight25, Happy New Year to you dear. Well, do not feel sad although you are alone watching the fireworks. As there are a lot of things to be joyful of. By looking closely to the fireworks, you will somehow feel the enjoyment. Try to focus more on the thought that today is a new year and we must observed the first day right. And just try to understand your mom since she want to sleep early due to the mass ceremony that she want to attend in the morning.

Hello Airasheila, This is the first time I have seen fireworks from other houses blowing up one by one though. the first day for us was kinda quiet so that's why i went to the roof to have seen the cool fire works. Well, I think she's not going to be awake that's why i decided to put an alarm into her bed, which was my phone.Have a nice day.

HI LK Wishing you a Very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous 2012 dear. Contrary to last years, we had some great fireworks and they(the people in my locality) burnt nearly 1000 USD worth of those. It was a longer show - started from 11:30 pm and continued late till 3:00 am. No food was served though. We (me and my love) were watching the old comedy - The Mask on the PC when the clocks hit 00:00 - and after the movie we went on the terrace for the watching of the display. I will be cooking today and I have a good menu ready. Last evening we did the shopping for all the veggies I would need.

Happy New Year to you too! I love watching fireworks. I usually only see them on the fourth of July. I usually only watch them on TV for the New Year, but on July fourth, I can sometimes see them outside my window if they are high enough. They look so pretty, don't they?!

Hello Stpehanie, It's sad to know that we don't do fireworks on our own Independence day, merely just a parade and all but we didn't have that much fireworks. I did enjoy the food here and we still have a few left. you don't have to spend much on the fireworks when you can just watch it, the only risk buying is when you set it up and something goes wrong. have a nice day my friend.

I did have a great new year celebration. It was spent with my family. All of us were complete except for my father who recently passed away. I did not have any fireworks nor was I able to see fireworks. Only those that are used by my neighbors. But I have stopped using fireworks for celebration long before knowing that it harms the environment and aside from that, its a waste of money. It also is dangerous. I do still enjoy the new year without it... for as long as I am with my family..... Happy New Year to you!

My mom never left the house from the night before the New Year.I did stay in the house but i had to leave outside or just on the second floor just to see the wonderful fireworks. And it was good. thank you and have a nice day.

HAPPY NEW YEAR MY DEAR BROTHER You think you are sole mylotting this new years time huh?...hahaha This new year is like the other new year that passed - ordinary day for me. The only difference is- I am at home for this year. Last year- I celebrated new year at work. The past years- me and my kids celebrated it with family -back to my hometown. But this time is different. No special occasion for me...nothing- but an ordinary day that passes by.

Hello Jaiho-sis, I didn't even mylot that much this new year But I am looking forward to be active again in the near future. I am also at home, Christmas days were also considered ordinary day for me as i didn't want to consider myself getting bothered much by it. Except for family reunion, there wasn't much of a pary too. have a nice day.

I am late on this one. You don't need company, friends, crowd of people to enjoy fireworks. I skipped fireworks this year. When I see one, I sure would love to take time with it.
