looking forward to my sunday paper and all my new coupons I will be getting....

I looked up the 2012 coupon inserts schedule and found that tomorrow there will be 2 redplum, 2 smartsource and 1 P&G insert....I am a "extreme couponer" in training and so I am very excited about tomorrows paper. I will get up tomorrow and go out and get 3 papers and then when I come home and get my inserts in order, I will have to go through my coupon clutch and get rid of any old coupons that I didnt get a chance to use and put in my new coupons then go through my sales ads and see who has what on sale.
Do you clip coupons and are you looking forward to getting your new set of coupons?

I am trying to learn extreme couponing too. Sometimes I do very well but many times either I cannot locate the coupon, I forget them at home, or the store is out of the items. 2012 will be my year of savings!

Yes, I agree this will be my year of savings as well!!! I am basically self teaching myself by researching blogs and any sites that I can find on couponing...I am a extreme couponer in training. LOL

I have been disappointed with the coupons in the Sunday Paper, either the coupons are for the products I don't buy, or they are items you have to pay for like the Franklin Mint, socks, pants, coins, collectable stuff that costs more to pay for than the item is worth, or if they have a coupon of something I use, its often buy mutiples having to spend more than the actual coupon is worth.
It would be better to find coupons online that you can either put on a club card, or print out, check your store for the policy regarding printable coupons not all stores take them. But in the end it coudl cut out the cost of a paper, especially if you can download coupons to a club card.

I am doing both right now, with Target you can print off target coupons and use them with manufacturer coupons for the same item...same with Kroger, I have clipped coupons to my rewards card and used manufactured coupons and saved double on items. I find that the coupons that says to save $1 for 2 items or more, I watch for what stores will have items on sale in bulk as well... and then they double them sometimes too which is great. I am a beginning couponer but I am trying to figure it all out and see what will benefit me the most....when extreme couponers say its a full time job, I can see what they mean. But I am a full time mom so I have the time to put in so I can save the most I can.

I do clip coupons, and I find it fun to find a bunch of good coupons. Today we managed to save about $20 using coupons, so I do save using them.

thats what I have been doing about $20 savings using my coupons as well. I am hoping to get some good coupons this year and build up a good stockpile...not big, I dont have the room for it, but with 3 kids I need to have a decent backup of things.

I'm a coupon user and the only way I can save on name brands is by doubling coupons when the brand is on sale. Also I use the manufacture coupon and a Target Coupon to buy name brands there. That is how I get Campbells Soup for free. I use to make a lot of soup, but not turning down free soup.
I get the Sunday Paper delivered and it arrives around 3:00am, so I can clip coupons early. This way I'm ready for Sunday and getting good deals. I take a short nap and I'm ready to shop.
I'm hoping for some high value coupons, as headed to Target. I want to get there early before the best deals are only available by going to several stores. Its easier to just go early.

I am hooked as well on my coupons... I have saved so much and I havent spent any more than I would have or bought things that I dont want just to use the coupons. they have helped me so much already and I am looking forward to the new year with saving as much as I can...especially having 3 kids, I need a good stock of things.

Your welcome. I hope you got some great coupons today....I ran out and got 3 papers today so I got triple the coupons, and it was great to have all the inserts in there. Now I have to get some time when the kids get settled in for the night with a movie so I can plan my shopping trips this week.

Really? I will have to tell my husband about this. Usually our Sunday newspaper doesn't have that many coupons & the ones they do have are usually for items that we don't use. We haven't bought the newspaper in a while because of this but if they are going to have some good coupons in tomorrow's addition then maybe we should be sure to get a newspaper bright & early.

I know, that is why I told hubby we need 3 papers. the last 2 weeks they havent had any coupons so I am excited. I am hoping to get some good ones. LOL
