As 2011 winds down, I have been looking forward to a new year to start all my new things that I want to get done in the new year. My list has been started...and new things will be placed on it through the year as I get some of it accomplished. I went to Target this past week since they had all there office supplies on sale, and purchased some things for my desk to get me started on my organization that I plan on getting under control this year. I also purchased a monthly calender for my desk so that I can keep track of my sons school projects. I also got a great deal on ebay for my printer ink so that I can print out my coupons, since I plan on becoming an extreme couponer this year....and now I have a few packs to keep me stocked up a for a couple months. I plan on working out a schedule to fit in my "work online" time so that I can earn at my sites to build up a savings account I am looking forward to opening this year. I have several projects on the house that we plan to get done since we plan to put the house up for sale a year from May.... "fingers crossed" we do well this year. this is just the start of my list.... but all of it I am looking forward to getting a stsrt on. what to do with all the toys that has no where to go....well that one I am working on, LOL this isnt about new years resolutions but things we would like to accomplish this coming year... but what plans do you have through the next year?? Have you started your new year to do list?? Your list may not be to do things around the house but to go on vacation or visit relatives you havent seen in a long time. thanks for sharing and happy mylotting!! :)

Sounds like you have it all under control! I am planning on things too. I just bought this house this summer and have some things I have been putting off doing due to illness, holidays and money shortage..but have been planning enough I think I can do it I want to paint the laundry room and my bathroom and the kitchen...small areas to just add some color and class to the house...in places I am all the time! But my husband thinks I am totally inept at doing such things and that has been one of the things that has delayed me..but I have chosen the color and will just go buy the paint and start. My daughter said she'd help me. Hopefully after he sees how nice the small places look, I can do more! I have some sewing I am working on...quilts and dresses for my grand daughters. I have an extra bedroom that I want to fix up so when my G-kids spend the night (which hopefully they will be able to this summer)it will be nice. I am shooting for a "garden" effect in the room! Then my sewing/office room...packed full but maybe a painted wall or some pictures in there will help it to not be so drewery. I have outdoor things in mind too...some flowers patches, small food garden and a nice patio set for eating outdoors come summer time. Also have to work on some lenses for my Squidoo writing. I do fairly well on that on a monthly basis. And if I get better at my quilting...maybe make one and put it on consignment some place. And save the worst for last...since we moved out of our 3o year area we have been in... I now have to find all new doctors and dentist! GROAN!!!!!!!! But it is a least nice to start off fresh with ideas and goals... Last week at the craft store they had tablets and small note books tablets on sale for 50 cents..I bought 20 of them...so I have plenty to use for making my lists....and I am a list person!

I didn't really make a list but would like to finally get somethings done in the upstairs....like redoing my bedroom which has been pending for a couple of years. I have already paid my son to recarpet for me.....and I need to do some repainting. Hopefully get the outside of my house painted too...that would make me very happy!

I hope to get our finances on track with some saving, get our house more organized, and stop procrastinating on a bunch of little things. We have already started by making a budget and planning out our meals for the week.

It is better to plan things in the beginning. You can classify long term palns and short term plans. I am sure that you can be a success in 70% tasks, if it is planned properly and monitoring. Atleaset we can find where we failed. At home my plan is to reduce the extravaganza and save some money. This is the one resolution which I wanted to implement successfully. For this purpose, I already have a cash flow statement for the current month. At the end of January, I can find what went wrong or where I am a success. In my office, my planning is to dividing my most of the responsibility to my substaff. I identified the areas where I can divide and to whom I can entrust.I wanted to only monitor things. This I have planned for one week and if they are not in a position to discharge the duties, I will review this on 8th January,2011. Wish you a prosperous New Year ahead
