do you have hokey pokey ice cream in your country. I've been told it is New Zealand only flavor. Is this true? What flavors do you have specific to your country.

Well dairy milk itself is local, we also grow a lot of apples and oranges and of course kiwifruit. I'm sure they have kiwifruit ice crem but I haven't tried it! There's probably lots of flavors here but I don't go to the proper ice cream parlors much, just the supermarket.

Im from Canada and I don't believe I've ever heard of that flavour at all! Sounds interesting though! We dont really have any specific flavour for our country, just a lot of different flavours.

Hokey pokey used to be a general name for ice cream in the 19th century, especially that sold by street sellers in the UK and the US. Very often these street sellers were Italian and it is thought that the name 'hokey pokey' is a corruption of 'ecco un poco' ('here is a little piece') or something similar.
In New Zealand, the name became applied to a particular flavour - vanilla ice with small pieces of toffee or toffee crisp included. It is now considered to be something iconically 'Kiwi'. Wikipedia claims that the flavour is exported to Japan and the Pacific islands. I have never seen it sold in England.
