Hi thaj, A good and true friend is like an angel in disguise. He lifts you up whenever your spirit is down. He is the one who will stay with you even the rest go away from you. He will make you smile whenever you feel sad. He shares his life with you not only during happy times but also on times in which you feel like you are alone. I treat my best friends like real brother and sisters. I do not know what I am going to do without them. I have true friends here in our country and I have met good and true friends too online. Funny but it is true. We cannot judge that a person cannot be true friend if it is online but I realized that it is not true. I hope you can find many of them too over the internet.

For me...a good friend is loyal. They will never abandon you. And forgiving...slow to anger at things you may say or do. A good friend is trustworthy...you can tell them things; and they will keep them secret. They will not betray a confidence. A good friend has a long memory. They will never forget you; even if they don't see you; and if things go wrong with your friendship, they will wait, patiently, until the friendship is restored. These are some qualities I think are necessary for a good friend.
