i think before the game, it was the easy game for Manchester city..i think Mancini will smile after hearing that his rival was lost in Old Traforld from Blackburn..
and he become more happy because his opponent is only Sunderland..
it was same like me, even iam not city fans..
it was easy game i think and city will get 3 points from this game
but my prediction was wrong..
sunderland won with the goal from south korea player, Ji Dong won in the end of the game..even it`s controversial goal by many soccer website, this is important game ..
it was a good year too for Martin o`neill..he was a good manager
and this result make MU fans must be happy too...

Yes, it was an unexpected victory for Sunderland and i'm shocked by the result as well. I know Sunderland is traditionally strong at home, but i didn't expect them to beat Man city. It was good game on the part of Sunderland, and Martin O' neil has really instil the right confidence into his team. By now, Man city should know, nothing is to be taken for granted no matter how easy the game can be. Imagine sunderland scoring on the last kick of the game? That must be really heart breaking for Man city.

It was really very much heartbreaking to see. Am a Manchester City fan and was shocked to see such a result. Sunderland really got lucky. This new year is full of surprises. Who could imagine Manchester United falling to a struggling Blackburn Rovers (this happened on 31st but it was nearly midnight) and when everyone thought Manchester City will run away with the lead, they slumped. But, Mancini shouldn't feel disheartened. He should pick up his players, and most importantly find a suitable replacement for Carlos Tevez (who in my view is/was the best City player). Viva City!!!

It seems like Man City are struggling to break teams down away from home. They could not score at West Brom and again failed to score at Sunderland. I think that they took the win foe granted because they started with Silva and Aguerro on the bench .

I think Man City missed a great chance to go 3 points clear of Man United at the top. Instead Sunderland hurt them badly with the last kick of the match. But tell you what that goal was scored from an offside position. The assistant referee could not keep pace with the players and missed the offside call as he was looking at it from behind.
But as a Arsenal fan, I am not complaining as this is the best result I could have expected.
Cheers!
