as soccer fans, it was our dream if someday we can be a manager with a good 11 players..but it was still dream for me..
but it`s not forbidden if we had dream..
now i want to share and maybe all of you want to discuss each other about your dream too about 11 best player and make the dream team ala your version..
here are my dream team in 2011..i try to use 4-4-2
Goalkeeper : Manuel Neur
Defenders : Left Defender : Patric Evra (MU),Central Defender : Puyol and Pique (Barcelona), Right Defender : Dani Alves (Barcelona)
Midfielder : Defensive Midfielder : Danielle De Rossi (AS ROMA), Central Defender (Xavi Hernandez), Left Midfielder : gareth Bale (Spurs), Right Midfielder : Iniesta (Barcelona)
Forward : Lionel Messi (Barcelona), Robin Van Persie (Arsenal)
here are my reason too, why i choose them..
no doubt that Manuel neuer is one of the great goalkeeper..maybe there are cassilas, Buffon and so on, but Manuel neur is the future goalkeeper i think
I believe patric evra is same like abidal, but choose abidal make my dream team is only from Barcelona and it was not good too..
No doubt that Pique and Puyol are good combination as central defender..
why i choose again barcelona in the right defender? i had no options for that..many right defender is lower than dani alves show..he is great for defending and attacking..
there are many good defensive midfielder, but i really impress what de rossi show..he had determination for guarding his place and secure his friends...
the master must be engine for my team and the options is Xavi Hernandez..Maybe Sneijder or Pirlo is good to, but Xavi is the right man for it..
Why Bale in the left midfielder? i need a speedy winger in that position and i found that Bale is right man for it..
And why iniesta??? the good friends for Xavi..and i choose him
i believe no one doubt why i choose Messi..
and RVP?/ this is his year too, and he had impressed many of us, include me, how he can score from the unbelieveable spot..i like it..he is killing machine..
i had told my dream team in 2011..

Hmmm, nice topic.......I'm role as Manager of AS. Roma in Football Manager 2011 (PC games). Very hard to buy good player, with low reputation of Roma.
For my dream team, I'm still build in this game
I use formation 4-2-3-1
I think Hugo Lloris (Lyon) is great Goal Keeper.
For duo central defender, I pick as your choice Puyol and Pique.
For duo full back, I choose Maicon (Internazionale) for the right side and Insua for left side
For Defensive Midfielder, of course De Rossi and Luca Modric (Tottenham) and Marek Hamsik for the substitution (Napoli)
For Attacking Midfielder I pick Javier Pastore (Palermo)He has good vision and future.
For winger, Angel de Maria in left side and C. Ronaldo in right, no comment for both players, they are the best in those field.
For Attacker I pick Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Inter) and Cavani (Napoli)as substitution

wow..Hugo Lloris is good, but i dont think this season he had a good season..too many goals in his spot, make me afraid that he is the best in Franch League..but it`s your choice
Insua?? i confuse why you pick this player..Bale can be a good alternative for left defender or maybe Abidal..
where do you did not us forward from EPL or Spain??
the weird something maybe you did not place Messi..it`s weird for me..
btw iam roma fans too like you..so it`s nice to meet another roma fans

I will pick my team from the English premier league as i do not watch many Spanish, Italian and German games. I will go 4-4-2.
Goalkeeper : Joe Hart.(Man city)
Left back : Ashley Cole.(Chelsea) Central defenders Phil Jones (Man united) & Collochini (newcastle) Right back Kyle Walker (Spurs)
Midfielders : Bale (spurs), Silva & Yaya Toure(man city) and Gerrard (liverpool)
Forwards : Rooney (Man u) & Van Persie( Arsenal)

I know that he has suffered a lot of injuries but when he plays he is excellent. In my dream team they are all injury free.

I would have made the following changes/additions to your team. I would have Joe Hart as the backup keeper to Manuel Neuer. In defense, I think Puyol has slowed down significantly, I would rather go for Steven Taylor in the middle of the defense. I will pick Yaya Toure as my defensive midfielder and Christiano Ronaldo as my right midfielder. My substitutes bench would include Fabregas, Iniesta, Vermaelen, Goetze, Hart.

i forgot put the players in subsitute bench..
i think Casillas as the reserved goalkeeper..it`s hard for me for placing cassilas in the bench..but the competition between Manuel Neur and Casillas is tough and i do hope Casillas understand my decision, Iam sorry for you casillas
the next subsitute player for me maybe Francesso Totti..i think this is debatable for some people who doesn`t know the quality of Totti..but i place him as substitute of Xavi Hernandez as engine the team..
Mario Gomez is the reserved for Robin Van Persie in my dream team..

My team is like this(4-5-1): Marc Andre ter-Stegen(Borussia Monchengladbach) as a goalie. I am a Bayern fan, but I dislike Neuer a lot, because of his low character. And the majority of the goals which he has conceded are his faults, which have cost Bayern at least 4 points, which is very much, considering that he had many games where he didn't have to save any shots.
Left defender: Philipp Lahm(Bayern Munchen) captain of Bayern and Germany, who has made a solid impression over the whole year, making very few mistakes, and those were not major.
Central defenders: Holger Badstuber(Bayern) and Mats Hummels(Dortmund), a couple which has the potential to become legendary.
Right defender: Dani Alves(Barca), because there is no competition on his side, he is simply the best on that position.
Right midfielder or right winger: Leo Messi(Barca)- I think I don't have to present him, he is the best on that position.
Central midfielders:Bastian Schweinsteiger(Bayern) and Xavi Hernandez(Barca): I guess this couple would be invincible, both of them having high intelligence and wonderful passing skills.
Left midfielder: Andres Iniesta(Barca)-this is the position where he usually plays and he would complete Xavi and Schweinsteiger very well.
Attacking midfielder: Thomas Muller(Bayern)- he is a player who never gives up, he runs and fights for every ball and he is very dangerous, he can score from every position.
Center forward: Mario Gomez(Bayern)- although many would call him unaesthetic or clumsy, he always knows where to be and he scores from every 2,5 chance he gets.
As a trainer, I would choose Jogi Loew, a person who demonstrated that he is capable of motivating players and to create a disciplined, yet friendly atmosphere at the German national team, which is filled with strong characters.

well..if my team is really like barcelona team , so i can say that your composition dream team is similar bayern munchen..
why you dont choose or appoint cassilas or maybe Cech as goalkeeper?? i never heard the name of the goalkeeper..is he talented??
the weird position for me is only Lionel Messi..why you place him in the right winger?/ even he had speed, but it`s weird for me..
bastian and de rossi had same quality..the different problem iam roma fans and you are bayern munchen fans..
don`t you think that your dream team can had conflict when they play together?

I have chosen ter Stegen because every time I have watched him, he was fantastic.
Why is the position of Messi weird? That is the position he plays at Barcelona, because in a 4-5-1 system, when the team attacks, it becomes a 3-4-3, so the left and right midfielders become strikers, and the left and right defenders midfielders, depending on which side the team attacks.
I am sorry, but I think that Schweinsteiger is better than de Rossi, at least he is higher regarded and the results speak for Schweinsteiger.
As for conflicts, they take place at every team, but a great coach like Loew can solve any conflict.

i must watch your favourite goalkeeper...but bundesliga is rare in my country...thats why many good players of bundesliga,i had a little information about them..
sometimes messi can play like you said, but place him like that and know his habit to play free role, there are hole in the right side...so it`s better if you place messi as attacking midfielder and the position is in the centre
