Anyone worked for Westathome, LIveops, or similar site?????????????

I'm thinking of applying to a site like Liveops or West at Home.
Do you know if they check all of your old job references / bosses, etc?
It has been EIGHT YEARS since I've held a "real job" so many of my references are a little hard to track down.
