How many times you change your phone numbers

Yesterday at the new year's eve, I've tried to send a message to about 25 people of my close friends to said "Happy New Year", but I was quite sad when getting a few reports stating that the message was successfully sent to 10 people only.
I wondered did they change their phone number, again? ... sometimes I'm tired of listening to their reasons changing their phone number frequently.
What about you, do you also frequently change phone numbers, what is the reason?
have you ever experienced anything like this before?

I changed my telephone number 2 times and I never experienced something before. I never text or call someone, I only using messenger or whatsapp. And the reason why I changed my telephone number that is because I changed my telephone and the new telephone wasn't supporting my new telephone, I don't know why.

This is because some mobile phones are already working with one provider, which lead to the phone can only use the numbers that have been provided by the provider's. And I think your friend may accept this reason.

hello,
I dont change my phone number frequently because I have a lot of contact and most of them are special to me and I dont want to lose contact to them because some of them are far from me now. So, I really take care of my number since this is important to me.

You're right, if we have to change our phone number with a new one, then we have to contact our friends again, one by one, and told them that we did change the phone number. but I am sure you have no reason to do that.
keep your phone number, who knows your far-away friends contacts you today!
Happy New Year

I don't really want to change numbers often. I have two sims, Smart and Sun- I have changed my Smart twice and my Sun 3 or 4 times... since I don't use it often and it expires.. I try not to let any of the sims expire though, use it alternately since it is hard changing numbers again.

My mobile number has been the same for the last 10 years. While there are some persons I want to avoid which makes me think if I have to get a new number, I haven't done so. I haven't found a real purpose why I should change my number when most of my friends may just happen to call or text. A few days ago,I was actually planning to change numbers because of one person who is sending me some nasty texts but why should I give him the benefit of putting me into a lot of inconvenience if I change my number? He is not worth it, I suppose. It just surprises me how some people can change numbers at a whim. It makes it very difficult to contact them.

Yes its true, Most people change number because of network company introduce new plan and more talk value with free of cost. These plan is only available i new Sim. For that reason frequently they could change their number. But it makes irritation when our call or sms doesn't reach to their number. I used to by new Sim, but often i don't change my old number. only reason is that i make call from new number. After i used it and simply through away. Better we can buy dual Sim mobile. we can use both permanent number and also temporary number. This is best remedy for that problem.

Hi... I used to change my number, every 6 months before 4 years. At that time, they had a restriction of extending the validity of the number by paying certain charges after every 6 months... I disliked the idea of investing money for nothing. So I used to buy new sim card, which was for free... LOL...
Later the restriction was taken off, so I am using the same no for past 2 years...

The current phone number I have been in possession of for about 7 or 8 years. Before that, I had the previous number for a few years. I don't like changing my phone number often because it causes confusion. I can tell you that the reason I did change numbers was because I changed carriers (at the time, it wasn't possible to take the phone number with me to another carrier), and once dealt with personal problem that was becoming unsafe. The number I have now, I changed phone carriers and was able to take it with me. I used to know people who changed their number very frequently. Obviously, I lost contact with them because of that.

I have had the same cell phone number for 6 years now. I don't like to change my number because then nobody knows how to reach me. I do know a couple people who seem to have a different phone number every few months. That drives me crazy because I try to call and am unable to reach them. I wish that I knew why they did this.

As you said, it will be irritating when someone changing their phone number often but now we got relief in India. In my nation, Mobile Number Portability service has resolved this problem to certain extent.
Happy new year friend...
