Shop at second hand stores for certain things, get thIngs on sale for the lowest prices possible. To also shop with coupons can help save money at time.

Going out only when absolutely, positively necessary is perhaps the best goal to say the very least. There are just a lot of times where people go out a bit too often, out of boredom, when they really don't need to. They burn money, they burn gas, which in turn is going to rather burn even more money to say the very least, so yeah limiting travels.
This might seem like an obvious one but don't leave lights, radios, televisions, whatever on if you have left the room for more than a couple of minutes. Granted if you're leaving to get a snack or go to the bathroom, that's fine, but if you have left, don't forget to really turn those things off. Also walk wherever you can, as the price of gas is one of the highest expenses that a person could potentially have.

You should refrain from shopping if you love it, you could at least buy only those needed stuff and buy things you want once a month. You can also save on electricity by turning off appliances when not in use. You can save on food too by buying less expensive but still safe and delicious food.

If you usually buy movies, rent them or check if your local library has them and borrow them for free. If you've gotten into online money making, then use the money you earn to buy fun things, that way you don't have to dip into your own money for that fun thing you wanted to buy.

My fiance and I moved in into a new place two months ago, and we have started to be more careful in using our money, we started with the heat control, we always have it off unless is actually cold and we never have it over 70 degrees. I fill the tank of my car at the Sams Club gas station where its soo much cheaper. Im only using the highway to get to work, even having to pay a toll, I save a lot on gas and time. We make list of the groceries we need and thats the only things we get, no extras. We don't have a landline phone, only use the cel phones. His hair cuts he is doing it himself, he started shaving his head, free and looks good. We have been able to save a lot doing this, the electric bill has not been over $60, on gas I spend around $30 a week(used to spend $50). Another thing that we have used is Groupon, this allows us to do things for us for very good prices, indulge for little.
Hope this helps!

As we all know the world is very materialistic, everything comes with a price. Living a life more frugally would and saving money would be a hard mission. There are many temptations which serves as your trials. But in order to survive, you should start it with yourself. Have discipline in everything you do.

You can also save your money by investing it on things that will yield an interest or profit. Saving in banks usually comes first in our minds but for me, I'd rather take a chance in setting up a small business. Even if the return of investment takes a longer time or the profit is not that great, at least I am already learning some of the Dos and Donts. I don't plan on working forever so having a business of my own is one of the solutions that I have for now :)

rid yourself of anything that isn't necessary for life. Your basic needs are food, water, shelter, and clothing, (and power). You can cut down on water by turning off the water while you brush your teeth, dont worry about buying name brand clothes and go to the thrift stores, buy stuff in bulk..more expensive at first but in the long run, you save money by stocking up, when you get paid, put aside a certain amount for savings before you pay anyone else. You have to pay yourself first! I dont have any more tips at this moment but I hope this helps and gives you a head start.
