My eyes always ache if I stare at any type of screen too long, just like your hands will ache if you have been typing for a long time. I find it's good to have some rest, maybe a quick nap, OR just stop watching TV/Computer screens until you've slept. This helps the ache go away for me.

Yes dear, watching TV for long time definitely cause some problems. It may cause headache or eye problems. I also used to watch TV for long time in a day, so I have now dark circles, eye distance problems and sometimes great headaches because of watching TV for more than 6 hours a day.
So, I suggest you to watch television from at least six feet and not to in dark colors. And always wash your eyes with cold water after watching TV.

If you experience getting an eye ache after watching hours of TV, then that means your eyes need to rest. Watching a lot of TV is not good for your eyes and you should not sit close to the TV are what most people tell me. You should find some other hobbies other than watching TV so that you won't spend a lot of time in front of the TV. What hobbies are you into? If you're going to spend hours watching TV, you should take frequent breaks away from the TV, like go eat and drink something or do some stretches. Hope this helps.

That's no good then if you get eye ache! It's not so good either if you get eye ache and then it leads to a head ache. How much TV do you watch? Watching too much and exposing your eyes to too much TV screens damages your eye sight. I'm not too sure about becoming blind, maybe on the long term if you don't stop! It may lessen your eye sight. When I was a kid, I use to be glued to the Tv and played video games all day. I would play so much until my eyes turned red and sore. Now I have to wear glasses and it's really annoying. My eye sight became pretty bad over the years of too much TV and computer. When I'm on the computer, I need to wear glasses or else the screen will look very blurry and I can't read the words properly.
So you should limit yourself in how much computer and Tv time you spend, too much is quite bad for your eyes. When I spend too much time on the computer, my eye ache turns into a head ache near my temples and it would annoy me the whole day! So just limit yourself and give yourself breaks after one hour of TV. It'll help.

It is definitely not good for your eyes to watch TV for a long time. But the high amount of frequency would not really harm your eyes. Meaning that maybe you always turn on the TV to watch, but if you only watch half an hour every time, it would not really hurt your eyes. Butt if you turn on your TV once a day but watched for 6 hours straight. I can say it's bad for your eyes and your health.
The best way to watch TV yet stay healthy is to watch for an hour max, and rest your eyes for a few minutes. Remember, you should always be at least 4 to 5 meters away from the TV to decrease the radiation you get from it.

I think everyting too much are not good for us, so maybe you shouldn't watch TV for long time.I've heard it is better to watch TV when the room is a little bit darker so you can probably try that as well, it might help. I don't watch TV often and I only watch TV at night time when the news starts and then some of my favourite shows! Unless theres Cricket game, TV won't be switch on in the daytime.
