Who Feels The New Year Yet?

Does it feel like a New Year to anyone yet? A fresh start? Or are we back to the same old, same old?
I always begin the New Year with hope. And my hope this New Year's is that my hope will continue throughout the year no matter what hands are dealt to me, whether through outside circumstances or my own doings.
Yes, I will make this a great New Year!

That's the attitude to have, dong88! You have a great year this year, and happy new year to you and yours! It will, indeed, be exciting - and we can embrace the new. Live in today, look to the future, and leave the past behind where it belongs!

Than the celebration of new year, majority of the people are in fear of this historical aspects about the 2012. Hope this fear become false and life on earth still continue for our next generations.

It will continue on as usual, rajesh - the environmental happenings this past decade - earthquakes, etc. - are not an indicator of a massive world end in 2012. The only thing that would end us this year would be a worldwide annihilation brought about by several countries fighting.
And I don't see that happening!

hi dear timetravel, this year still feels new to me too. I know I have to get to work tomorrow (had today off) and there it will be sort of same old, same old as soon as I get there. But the year still feels new to me and it also starts a lot better than 2011 started. Hope you have a great year with your hubby and will make this a great year.

thanks a lot for your kind wishes. It was a bit sad to let 2011 go as it was a good year. Two not so good things happening but the remaining year was very nice and promising.

2012 will be special for all of us, no doubt about it.I think we'll be given a chance, but there is no guarantee that all people will use it.It's important to stay positive and work hard for your dream.I wish you all the best in 2012 and thanks for an uplifting discussion!

I haven't really felt the new year as a fresh start but i look forward to making it wonderful as i go along...I do feel sad because 2011 was a year that brought me loads of fun and good times...All i can do is hope that 2012 brings me the same...

Thanks...it is just that i am gonna pass out from school and gonna miss my bunch of friends..This time next year,we will be in different parts of the world studying for totally different stuff...
But i look forward to enjoy these last days with much fun and vigor....
