i don't feel mad when people try to influence my decision. it depends on who they are in my life and on how they do it, if it's coercive or crossing some boundaries. when people tell me what to do, and i don't see it as self-serving on their part, i take it as a sign of care and concern.

I don't like it when anyone tries to influence my decision at all. I am very stubborn and hard headed and unless a person can prove to me their decision is better than mine I will not change my original decision. I do try to listen to the other persons reason or view but it does not mean I will do what they want. I have found if you tell the other person that you will consider their decision they tend to back off just knowing you might do it their way. Give it a try and you may not have to argue with them so much. Always do what you feel is best for you but try to listen to others too!
