ragging-good or bad ?

What proponents of ragging say that it would enhance senior-junior interactions. But the side effects are too good for benefits of ragging. It's only a matter of say if done in control. Ragging would never be done in control and you would see here and there some cases of ragging scam. Ragging has to be banned so that in coming years no one knows what is ragging. I'm too in college and i know i too have given ragging but the trend has changed with ragging being banned. No senior is now interested in taking ragging and interaction is still on.

Hai friend... Ragging is banned in my campus..My seniors got chance to rag us...They did that in last year..But now In this year,Principal announced that Ragging a student is a criminal activity and That person will be hand over to police suddenly..In India,Ragging is banned any where...If we tried to rag a student by a look,That's also a part of ragging...So we are fear to look a junior student...In some colleges,There is a day that for ragging junior..That work like a rule/part in college..All teachers,staffs and students will be there to analyze them..But seniors will handle/use that day maximum as ragging...I think that's need in every college... Right??? Thank you friend...

I think ragging is bad in any extension, because it have others ways to juniors and seniors to bond with each other. Also, the students that suffered with the ragging in one year, will do the same thing or worst in the next year..and that's an endless circle...

Well if you want to help make the juniors more interactive with the seniors,then why not try other creative means like arranging a day for a group show and then making every single one of them to get on stage and do something good? You still could enjoy the 'ragging' part with the hooting stuff... still like old times,you may have the tendency of what you got from your seniors to your juniors..so i think that if you restrain yourself to a certain extent,ragging will not become a crime...

Hi deepu, Ragging, first and foremost thing is we want to change this name. Now days the word "Ragging" gets alarming. Ragging is not at all good for nothing. If we really want to interlink seniors and juniors in college then we can take some other paths like arranging sports, music, joint social events etc., as stage to make them together forever. Stop Ragging and save futures of many youths. Happy new year and have a wonderful year ahead !

friendly ragging is good for healthy relationship b/n juniors and seniors.but those causing physical and emotional pain is bad. to a small extent its oky
