Apparently as an enrolled customer, one can get residual income even from people who buy say a thing of lotion or soap or vitamins ... (the list is too long) every month. This is something that is very important because for one it is simple and for two, no one in melaleuca understands the value of this in that it still brings residual income and family and friends still get to try the products. They are exceptional, some of them. Lotion that cures eczema and psoriasis, vitamins and mineral supplements that absorb 6x better, cereal, etc.
All it took for me to try enrolling more direct customers and still get residual income was my dad saying "Yeah. If it makes you a dime (more than a dime though) I'll find somethin to buy every month."
Heck I don't even care if you go to someone else to do it. This company has product that the world needs. Literally.

Yeah, they have some pretty neat stuff, love their shampoo and conditioner. And the residual income thing is pretty nice to. Have fun with it.

Nah man, I just get a friend of mine to get me the stuff I want, because I am involved in another home business and don't want to spread myself to thin, and every time I used another person before they kept pressuring me into trying to help them build their business.
So, I love the products, and I believe in the opportunity, but since I am involved with another company that does something similar(though without as many different kinds of products) and like I said, that would be going to many ways at once, but if you like I am involved with an organization that focuses on giving back and helping any one in any company get the success they want in the business.
