... Do you have a recipe for prawn to share?

Yesterday, hubby requested me to cook prawn. I cooked this sarciado just for him. I've no other recipe than prawn sarciado (sauteed with tomatoe), with coconut milk with some veggies, and the best ever sinigang. Do you have a special cook in prawn to share?

Hello, Lhenni! I would love to share with you some of the recipes that I know, but it's against myLot discussion guidelines.

Hi witty! Maybe it doesn't harm if we'll talk the cooking and how it tastes, the experience... and not the recipes alone. I had answered discussions here regarding cooking and I've not receiving deletion of the post... Am I really violating some discussion guidelines? I just hoped that the admin of MyLot won't find this post abusing to be deleted *sigh!

... 'know what?! I'm somewhat waiting for the deletion yet I'm still hoping it won't *LOL... I really don't know how admin will find my post... knowing in my posted title there's the word recipe... *sigh

Oh?! I am sorry if my understanding is wrong, Lhenni. As per myLot guidelines, one of the DON'Ts is "Post jokes, recipes, etc. as discussions. This is a form of abuse and all recipes and jokes will be deleted if they are started as a discussion." This does not confuse me in any way, but because I am a new member, I apologize. Maybe I'm wrong. I am thinking of this. How can we post recipes if we're not going to talk about them? It means that after posting the recipe or part of the recipe, myLot members need to comment. How are they going to comment? By adding some ingredients and cooking them. Experiences with regard to cooking will also be tackled. Thank you for your comment, Lhenni. I'll check some posts with regard to this. I am now getting confused.

Prawns are those big shrimps right? Last Christmas, i cooked the prawns in sprite, with some salt & some ground peppers. I let it boil until they are cooked and then have a tablespoon of cornstarch diluted in a small amount of water and pour it into the pot, stirring it so it will not be lumpy. They all loved it!

Yeah, actually my father-in-law's joints stiffened after eating them. Nonetheless, i still cooked some more on New Year's eve because my daughter and brother-in-law who bought them from his place of work, likes it so much. We just avoid sipping on the head, where the killer " aligue " is.

Oh yes! I'll try it in BBQ sauce! I think hubby will like it too... he's a BBQ lover... i'll give his prawn a twist if I'll make it prawn instead of pork.

Try this simple Buttered prawn with oyster sauce (or Worcestershire) Just easy, do all the necessary preparation for prawns saute garlic and onion in butter until brown add the prawns stir and covered for 2 mins stir adding the oyster sauce (according to your taste- oyster sauce is sweet and salty same with Worcestershire) add leaks (sliced 1 inch or onion spring leaves) do not over-done to avoid the skin sticking to the prawns flesh. simple and sooooo..ummm I am hungry now
