Do you cry at movies that aren't even very sad?

Oy my goodness. As I get older I am turning into more and more of a crybaby. Since I had my children I cry at everything, happy things, sad things, hopeful things, hopeless things.. Anything that provokes any kind of emotion! Was there a point in your life where you started crying at movies or are you someone that always has?

Sounds real good. I might get it out this week. I'd probably only watch movies that a recommended to me and I will probably cry whether it is happy or sad. Lol. I don't mind having a good cry but feel a bit awkward sometimes if other people are there. Thanks

The movie was called Frequency (2000) by Jim Caviezel(Son) and Dennis Quaid(Father).
An accidental cross-time radio link connects father and son 30 years. The son tries to save his father's life. And must fix the consequences, It's actually hard to explain I recommend you watched the movie.

I think it is kind of cool for a guy to cry as long as it isn't about everything. It shows that he is a passionate person in touch with his feelings. If he cries at movies he is compassionate. As long as he isn't a cry baby who just cries because he doesn't get everything he wants! That would be uncool.

I will get emotional, when I am watching a very sad movie. It does happen. It's the way that I am. However, I won't usually get emotional, when it comes to movies that aren't really sad or anything like that. It's not usually the way that it is for me. I'm only usually emotional when watching films that are sad.

I'm not at all emotional, I even managed to get all the way through "The Lovely Bones" without a tear, but what I do find is that anything with a happy ending start to get me going, very strange.

girls are always emotional and i am not an exception. But i wont cry for everything. Some movies are really hear touching and make us to cry by the way those movies are presented and narrated. In normal life too,i am not that much emotional. We wont get things by crying. We should have that hardwork to achieve it. We should have the courage to meet the failure because failure is the stepping stone for success. So there is no point in crying. If we cry,we will stop doing works and we wont think beyond that. It is better to analyse where we went wrong instead of sitting and crying.

It is definately good to push on and past the hard stuff but sometimes in real life tears are a good release and healing. You sound like a good strong person. I think I used to be stronger than I am now but nowadays I'm a bit soft. Mind you right now I'm pregnant so I'm probably even more emotional than usual! Thanks for reply

Yeah, I can relate to that. I am very emotional when I can relate to a particular part of the movie, or somehow reminds me of a sad part of my life. For you,as you have said, you are getting older, maybe your hormones is the culprit for that my friend. Well there is nothing wrong with that,as long as you are not laughing with the sad movies or crying with a comedy movies;)
