I am a fan of Mnachester United FC. Considering our bad performance, we still lucky enough to be at 2nd place. However, I think Sir Alex should really considering some players to be buy to strengthen the current team. For me, the midfield position is really lacking, and I would like to see some players that has flair and creativity like Sneijder, Kagawa, Hazard or Mario Gotze. However, since this players are so popular, the transfer might cost some big amount of money.
Regarding the player I want to be out for either for loan or transferred, I think Macheda, Morrison, Diouf should be sent out for loan. Gibson should be sold long ago. Hope that Sir Alex can surprised me with some signing.

I think his two areas of concern are midfield and defense. I think in the defense he has to figure out long term replacements for Rio and Evra. Also he need an injury backup for Vidic. In the middle as you pointed out he needs a creative player. I think they are going after Hazard.
Cheers!

i had ever heard that Sir Alex take the decision, doesn`t want to involve in january transfer windows..
but i think he must see again his team condition.
it`s terrible when he had no backup the defender..
and it make the danger for David de gea or andreas lindegaard...

While I can't deny that language is a factor in performance on the field, it certainly is not a major one. Football itself is already an universal language. They are all professionals. They know the game well. How a goalkeeper coordinates with his defense is not that difficult compared with a foreign coach having to tell his whole team about his play plans and strategies. And to learn simple English like "you stand here", "It is my ball", "stay clear"... They are living in England. It is really not that hard to pick up unless one refuses to.

That' one of problem too. Lindergaard is good. He has some advantage since he can speak English. He can command his defence perfectly. De Gea has strong barrier problem, and he is not strong enough to counter the strong and big players. However he is very energetic and acrobatic who can make magnificient safe.

I think that you are right in needing a central midfielder. I support Stoke City and i am quite happy with the squad that we have and can't really see them bringing anyone in .

I am sorry skyxie but you have lost me. Stoke , to my knowledge, do not have a Richardson in their squad. The only current player who i can think of who has played for Man U is Shawcross and hopefully he is not the one who is rumoured with Arsenal.

I am an Arsenal fan and I would like to see the club selling off the following players. Almunia, Schillaci, Diaby, Denilson, Gibbs, Bendtner, Chamakh. Denilson and Bendtner is currently on loan and how I wish theirs is a permanent deal. As for Diaby and Gibbs, they are too injury-prone to contribute to the team on a consistent basis. Almunia, Schillaci and Chamakh is simply not good enough for a club of Arsenal stature.
As for the players I wish to see in the team, they are: Goetze, Poldolski, Sow.

You want the club to get rid of seven players and only buy 3? That would leave them lacking in depth in the sqaud surely if they are selling 7 they should replace them with at least 5?

Hi skyxie I think you have hit the nail on the head here.. With the no. of injuries we have had and our very poor midfield and our wobbling defence I think that we have done decently well in the league ( But our weaknesses were cruelly exposed in Europe and Carling cup.) I will say this, even if by any chance we win the league, I think we wont progress forward as we have a lot of deficiencies which I dont see Sir Alex addressing due to lack of funds.
Posions I want covered :
CB and LB : Feridnand is not the player of old and Vidic is out for the season and Evans seriosuly is not good. We need a commanding Centre half and also a good left back as Evra has been bad this season.
Players I want : Jori ALba abnd Ryan Shawcross. Shawcross may be alittle bit of a surprise but I like himas he is ano nonsense defender and LAlba has looked good whenever I have seen hi,
A creative midfielder : Goetze and Hazard are the best young options..Sneijder, kaka, Modric, Schweinstiger, Hamsik will all fit the bill. But all of them will b very costly and I hope Man U get alteast one of them, though Kaka might be a gamble seeing his injuries
Player I want : Goetze / Hazard
A powerful centr forward : Man u need someone to partner Rooney adn score goals. Hernadez is good but I would really like to see Cavani in Man utd colours :)

Wow. You really know your team. I think your opinion is really good, and what most of ManU FC fans want the most.
For centre back, I hope we can get someone, as we saw Evans is not the player we saw several seasons ago. I think we can get strong CB, like Samba at decent amount of money.
For midfield, this is the critical one. For years we are looking for subsitute for Scholes, Roy Keane, etc. Hope Sir Alex can make a decent buy.
For forward, I think its good enough, just need some polishing. Chicarito is a natural goal scorer, just need to improve on his positioning, dribbling, and passing. And we have good subs striker like Welbeck, Owen and Berbatov, which can provide in critical moment.

Well said skyxie.. Replacing Scholes is the toughest part and I was really surprised when Sir Alex did not try to get a player in the summer transfer window..Cleverly is good but to compete with the best we need a world class player at the heart of the midfield to pull the strings.. I think Man U missed out on 3 huge players who all could have filled the gap.. We missed out on Silva who I believe would have been the best replacement.. And again this year NAsri and Mata could have been great additions.. But we stuck to the youth policy and I fear now :(
As for Samba I believe he is a realy underrated but a good strong defender who will be quite cheap and we could actually get.. Hoping for some reinforcements this January

Ok well first off people here have said that normally there are not any big transfers in the jan transfer market.....well last Jan when did Liverpool buy Andy Carrol and Luis Suarez? when did Chelsea pay £50million for Torres that was in Jan. These are players who are in the first teams. So people saying that managers do not buy first team players in Jan are wrong.
I support Liverpool I think the team has a good squad now, I would like to get a better left back Ideally Gareth Bale before you say he is not a left back when Tottenham bought him that was where he was playing for Southampton. I would get rid of Craig Bellamy for a younger forward as we have enough experienced players in the team. Replacing him would depend on the money available maybe Mario Gomez, or James Vaughan(touted the next rooney). I would also like them to buy a good midfielder such as busquettes, who could come in and has a good eye for a pass and so would come in and help take the pressure of Gerrard, Charlie Adams is ok but gets booked too often for my liking.
Finally I think liverpool need to look at youth and investing in some youth players as Carragher, Gerrard, Kuyt, Reina. I would say are the 4 main players at the moment and when they retire in maybe the next 5 years or cannot deliver at this level it will cost alot to replace them where as if they got a youngster now who they can develop it would save them time. yeah they have jay Spearing and martin kelly, but I still think they need to find a good young keeper.
I know what most people will say to this there arent any big names really mentioned well the likes of wesley Sneijder is a good player but would not fit into the current team formation as if you play him then gerrard would be restricted and less effective.
