I just wondered that when we dream we remember the few minutes of our dream when we wake up. I have asked my friends about this and they also forgot their dream.
Are you experiencing it too?

This is caused by the brain waking up and starting to work the way it does when your awake. when you go to sleep your brain goes into a different mode basically. Certain parts of your brain almost stop working depending on how asleep you are. That is why you only remember the dreams right before you wake up. its because your brain is waking up and your memory starts to record the dream. Then when your brain comes to full awareness your paying to much attention to your senses to be able to dream and actually "see" things.

There are actually. I have also practiced those abilities to and it can be quite easy to some. All i had to do was leave a notebook by my bed and say to myself and really believe it, that's the key, that whenever I had a dream I would wake up so I could write it down. Once you really believe in yourself and your control you can literally set alarms in your head by just saying ....I want to be up at 8 in the morning. Don't rely on it as it can "never" be perfected you may sleep through the time you wanted. Anyways... when I would go to sleep i would tell myself that and even if i didn't remember getting up and writing something i would wake up to a notebook of memories. as soon as i would start to read i would remember the dream in great detail...it provided the jolt for you body to recall the memory. quite fun sometimes especially if you can lucid dream then write down what fun you have been having all night long :

Yes i have experienced that too! I can only remember bits and pieces of the dream but not the entire dream. I enjoy when I know I'm dreaming and can fly and do crazy stuff, I can remember those dreams fairly well. :P

its weird that i dreamt winning a lottery even if i don't but any tickets at all.
maybe it is a sign that i need to buy a ticket.
but i don't know what number should i bet.
i remember this dream partially blurred faces,
the highlight was just i won the lottery and i woke up.

Not really, I remember most of my dreams, and if they are super sweet, I should remember it when I wake up in the morning. Maybe, it is different from person to person, some people tend to forget about their dreams, while others they tend to remember their dreams.

If only an ordinary dream sometimes I often forget it, it just because after waking up My mind immediately drawn about what I should do on that day. But if I had an extraordinary dream - mostly usually it will be stored in my memory, and easy to remember back - even for re-told though not at all clear, aka vague.

there was a time that i also really want to remember the good dream.
you might want to do this, it works.
make sure you are really sleepy and think of something you want to dream.
prepare a pen and paper.
sleep and dream of your choice of dream.
and when you wake up,
write down the things that you remember in your dream

Something you may want to look into is called lucid dreaming. There is actually ways if practiced to be able to become aware that you are dreaming WHILE you are dreaming! Let me assure you it is quite an amazing feeling when it happens. it happened to me when i was younger just by accident. It happens when your brain wakes up just a bit in the right area but you are still asleep and don't fully wake up. That is why most lucid dreams Happen when someone is transitioning from a deep sleep to being awake. For me it happened because i saw something in my dream...a little green man...and when i saw him for some reason in this dream it struck me as odd. I remember thinking (in my dream) "well that's odd little green men don't exist!". then it struck me all at once i was "in" a dream, I realized that I was "truly" lying in bed asleep...yet there i was standing in front of a house I had grown up near talking to a little green man. It occurred to me while in my dream that dreams are your thoughts so I could control them! to try it out I though of an amusement park that i used to go to. Instantly I was flying around a roller coaster. My experience with that dream is not common. most lucid dreams cause such excitement when the realization comes that it wakes the person up. I for some reason stayed asleep despite the excitement. That is what i meant about practice. with practice you can control excitement and remain in the dream world!
