On the way to school today K told me that her winter jacket was too tight. Do you know how hard it was to find a winter coat today? Had to go to 2 different Targets to finally find a coat for her. Winter just started and Target already has their spring clothes out. She needed an extra large I finally found one at the second Target. The good thing is that it was 50% off. What do parents do when a child has an unexpected growth spurt?? Is it me or do you think retail stores are rushing the seasons along?

I think it is very hard to find a coat that suits, at least that is the trouble I had for myself, being a bit on the short side didn't help I don't think...

Oh I would definitely chose love even if it is not true love to suffer afterwards. but what a bright future if he is not beloved. when you're a man who loves you then there is no better than this. because love is important. are born from love so many things so many pleasant memories. so I think without telling you love. but other things will come by itself. nice day!

same here in Canada. As soon and CHristmas and Boxing day are over, you have to be pretty lucky to find anything 'wintery'. pretty much towards the middle of January, the stores are already bedecked with spring clothes!

The thing with the stores replacing winter clothes with spring outfits is that it is still officially winter, it started a week ago. The stores are having major sales and promotions on their winter stock so it actually a good time to buy clothes as most have discounts, the problem is that this late in the season most of the nicer clothes and most common sizes seem to disappear. Luckily you found one but on sale too. A of of parents buy clothes that are a size to big, well that way they will grow into it, or that was common practice with my family and friends.

That seems a bit much when you had to search for a place to get a winter coat at this time of year...The last couple of winters we had here reached record low temperatures when a shift in the usual weather patterns brought arctic weather down over the UK..this year, there were hardly any freezing conditions at all, leaving stockpiles of winter preparation fluids for cars on the shelves, snow grips for shoes unsold, and camping/outdoors clothing retailers going out of business with the recession and poor sales not helping with temperatures 30 celsius above what we had this time last year! Good job getting a bargain on the coat, though. on the seasonal change thing-I was in town for some shopping after work last night, and right beside the christmas themed stuff they were trying to unload at this stage, there's a display of Easter Egg merchandise moving in!

I don't live there and am not aware of it.. but here in India you can easily get the winter coats even when it is not the season..there are many options here.. Kids do grow up quickly and they need new cloths more often. When I was kid my mom use to buy cloths one size larger then what is need.. so it fits longer..

hi kimbers it is even harder to find a winter coat in \ Southern California even though we do get cold nights here in the winter months. they start winter stuff in early fall then spring st uff in early winter which to me makes no sense at all.I suppose now the short sleeved tees will be on sale too. I need a new sweater so best by looking before they put them all away.
