New Year Resolution..!

Dear Friends, I have been smoking for 9 years and many times I thought to quit it. But never succeeded. On this new year I suddenly thought to do that and I got much encouragement from my friends and my girl friend. Today is forth day of this new year and I haven't touched the cigrate yet. I am feeling good about it some time but all time I feel like I am missing something from my usual life just like when I don't read news paper in the morning and feel up to afternoon. I am taking some help from electronic cigrate but not much only when I finish some food and get strong feeling for smoke. What about you ? As this is 4th day of this new year...are you still sticking to your new year resolution ? I would like to know your's plan and view too.. Thanks.

I have been smoking for over 20 years now. I still enjoy it as much today as I did 20 years ago. I wish you the best on quitting smoking. I could do it if I forced myself to but I am just not ready to quit yet.

I also enjoyed it too much and practically I love smoking but the health is big matter for me now and it was very god to take a decision like this. Once there were a time when I used to say that cigrate is my wife and it will be my first one always but I am taking divorce..LOL Thanks for your response.

For me, I don't really do large resolutions for the new year because of the fact that I really don't think that they work too well for me. However, at the beginning of each year, I do make a list of little things that I would like to be able to change in my life during the course of the year and those things are things that I know that I can do or to work on. So far, none of the things that I want to accomplish this year have fallen to the wayside.
