Playing Poker in FB

Shoot me, but even though I am an Facebook fanatic I never learned how to play poker there , where all my brothers, niece, sister played it and giving and always asking for chips. And the very sad reason that I can not enjoy my laptop because someone in the house is playing poker.
And I asked them do you guys earn from playing it, I mean sometimes they are fighting and arguing about it and even scamming themselves by sharing the chips. And they answered "of course we do" so shocked about it and got curious so I asked the details on how they earn on it they were selling chips in exchange for a real money in other. Looks like I need also to learn how to play poker, what do you think mylotters? or am I the only one that didn't knew about it?

I think earning real money playing poker in FB is about selling accounts with millions of accumulated chips. I've heard this story last year from somebody who knows somebody who sold his FB account.
Anyway, I haven't really pursued this rumor because I'm not into selling any of my FB accounts. And also, I don't really need so much chips to enjoy the game. I get a steady stream of gifts from neighbors so I have enough to play for days.

Hmm. Maybe, they have few neighbors who send them chips. But I still don't get why they need to pay for chips when others are so willing to send them as gifts. Plus, they only need to buy if they are bad poker players who can't win any in the game.
Anyway, I haven't really played the game for quite some time. I was planning on reading a few poker books first so I'll have some strategy on which hand to bet. I don't feel confident playing without some strategy because the betting turns into some kind of gamble esp. against kamikaze players who keeps going all in.

Zynga's Texas Hold 'em Poker is one of the most popular games on Facebook. I have tried it, and have actually been addicted to it for sometime. I still play it to this very day, but not as often as before.
When I first started, I barely won anything. In fact, I was losing more than I was winning. I then somewhat got the hang of it and managed to win a good amount of chips. At some point I got millions, but they were all blown away in one hand.
The game is fun, but can be very frustrating at times when you just can't win no matter how you tried.
I suggest you give it a shot sometime. It's a fun game. You might even be good at it.

I think they have made a 'Poker 101' section to teach new player the basic strategies of the game. Just try it for some time and I'm sure you'll get everything. You could always try googling how to to play Texas Hold'em.
Once you start winning you feel like you own the world :P
That is one reason why I got addicted to the game for sometime. But I know some people who played it, won and still hated the game. So I guess it all depends on you.

I've been addictive to this game and spent a lot of time, but never once come to my thoughts to buy chips! I have a friend that spent few hundreds dollars on buying chips and I told her on few occasions that she just wasting her money, but her argument is she's having a lot of fun! Although I never gave up reminding her about spending money on chips and I do believed that she wasn't into poker much anymore or atleast not buying chips! I also know some people there that knows people who sell chips, it is illegal to do so, but I don't think zynga or FB can control such things! I have been playing poker on FB for more than a year but I don't think I played that games or poker very well anyway and as of now I'm tired playing the games.

I play zynga texas holdem poker and I believe I was very addicted to it, and I still play it now :D
I have also tried playing the game on real life in a casino and it has a different feeling. because other people can actually see your emotions while your playing so if you are good in acting, and using the so called "poker face" you can really get away with alot of money, I have tried it and it was fun, very fun actually.
but never knew on how to earn "real Money" from that game, selling accounts seems not my thing because I don't make multiple accounts.

You should give it a shot sometime. It's really fun and can help eat up some free time.
I think I should be studying now, my finals are in a week :P

I also play poker in facebook but just for the fun of it. I even bought some chips and used my credit card. But I don't think I would want to make money out of it. I simply enjoy playing the game with complete strangers all around the globe! Have a nice day!

I used to play also on Facebook's Zynga poker. But after a while I was bored and tried to find another poker game, I couldn't find any good looking game. Sometimes I pick my ipod and play poker of facebook. Before that I was addicted to zynga poker, but not anymore luckily.
