Every year, after all the holiday rush,i always spend a day with our closet.
Taking some worn outs and adding new from gifts we received during holidays.I always give our small clothes to other relatives who wants it.
Today as i was fixing my daughters closet.I saw four new clothes that she got from her birthday last July. They are not still used till now.And i think my daughter will have to keep it until next year. Those will still not fit her and maybe will better fit me.
Hmmm, that makes me think.Do you think my daughter will give it to me? :-)I think it will look good on me. :-D What do you think?

Well if that fits you go for it and try it on. I just don't think she will like the idea, because it's her gifts. But I think she won't mind it if you'll ask her and convince her.

@wonderboy, it's you again
I share most of my things with my mom so for me that is not a problem. I even force my mom to use my things because I want her to look good
@tamirs, she's using make up and lipstick now she's still so so young... powder is just fine for her.

It's kinda funny how you want your daughter's gifts. I saw the image and they look pretty good, have you tried them on yet without your daughter's presence of course Usually, mums don't wear their daughter's clothing because they both have a different fashion sense and also the age difference too. But my mum and me share clothing. For outing clothes, my mum has her own style and I have my own. One time when I was younger my friend caught my mum wearing my shirt one time and she started to laugh at me. I felt embarrassed but I didn't mind that my mum was wearing my shirt. Now though, my fashion sense changed. But we still share pajamas though. Sometimes she would steal my pants to wear at home without even asking me but I don't mind. I took a few of her pajama shirts too. These are just home clothes and I don't mind if my mum takes some of my clothing, as long as they are not going out clothes.
Why not ask your daughter? She's not going to wear them so those clothes need to be used one day and I think it should be you. I'm pretty sure as your daughter she won't mind.

Actually she always steal my stretchables and sleepwear :-( That is why i am tempted to get those gifts she got. :-D Like you and your mom,we share clothes too but only those nightwear.Almost all of my stretchable underclothing fits her.And most of her shorts and tee shirts fits me. :-)
If her mood is good tomorrow,i am sure will ask her :-D

me and my mom share clothes too.... it's usually me who take her shirts from her cupboard, whenever I feel I am using the same shirts, I would go into her cupboard and check if any of her dress fits me But if I bought a new one and realized it's too big for me then she'll have those.

Why not, I am sure she will be willing to see you wearing those clothes.
Besides, she's a shoes addict like me right?

Hi Tamirs
The last time I purchased or got any clothes for me was 4 years ago and I still have one shirt that I will not wear anyway
And you mention Those will still not fit her and maybe will better fit me. I should now think to have a kid boy here... so that someone gifted him some kool shorts and tees (of my size of course)
But yes, on a serious note, my mom has a few sarees which both of her daughter in laws eye upon (as I do not have any sister of my own)

sids,
I wear my shoes and my mom even get annoyed when I pick 3 pairs and she will say "are you gonna wear those at the same time "
I don't know why I can't resist the temptation when it comes to shoes

If you both have a good loving and sharing mentality through out your life then there is no problem. The problem arises when one of the person dislikes the another. IN such cases people do not share any things.
I think you used to maintain good relation. Am i right ?
I think you will get it and let us hope so

Many daughters can be very possessive about their personal things. Especially those who are teen or near about teens. But if they fit you well right now, you may have a trade off with your daughter promising her new sets next year. Makes a better idea.
