Though it seems unlikely India will be able to dig themselves out of this hole, but still what do you guys think? It will only take a special innings from sachin or laxman or dravid.

This comment is dedicated to everyone. Thanks for your comments. India lost/ on the verge of losing this test match by an innings (unless a miracle happen). Poor batting combined with poor bowling and horrible and lacklustre fielding nailed this match

Hi sandman,
It is not 'or' but 'and' that is required to pull India out of the troubled waters to safety. That is it not Dravid or Laxman or Tendulkar but is all of them together including Dhoni, Sehwag and Gambhir who have got to fire up to save this match for India as Australia is poised to take a lead of upwards of 500 and on crumbling Sydney wicket, batsmen will find it difficult to stay on the wicket on fourth day. Let us hope Dhoni and his men all the best to save this match.

Well Divakar, we are talking about Indian batsmen but if India has any chance to save this test match tomorrow first bowlers have to lift their spirits and grab the opportunities which they get. Today Ishant Sharma dropped an sharp catch offered by Clarke and if that catch would have been hold then Clarke would not have crossed double hundred. Such mistakes should not be repeated tomorrow. India first have to dismiss Australia if not more records will be set by Australia like Clarke triple hundred and Hussey hundred. Then declaration will come only after a lead of 500 runs is achieved. If that happens India will never be able to come back into this match.

well sandman, in my view if India put attacking fields tomorrow and maintain a tight line and see that Clarke and Hussey are dismissed as early as possible. If that does not happen then Australia will wait for Michael Clarke triple hundred and Hussey hundred and then declare. The way India is batting even a lead of 291 is too much for India. So, India can save this test match only if their top batsmen bat sensibly and score big knocks for that happen India must first bowl out Australian batsmen. Dropping of catches too will not help it, Ishant Sharma dropped a catch which Clarke offered to him. If that is hold then Clarke would not have scored double hundred. Hope Indian team performance better in second innings..

It's going to be innings defeat. Hardly they can make it not humiliating. They don't have practice at all. (And unless they start attacking, they can't defend.)

I think this series will be washed by Australia. I wounder what happened to these players ?
Most of the players are doing well when they are playing from India but they re worst when they are away
I think that India will over come it and lets hope so.
For this time Australia will mostly wash out the whole series

I think if the australia gets the lead above 350 or 400 then the indians are in trouble. And i think that aussie will achieve this lead because the way clarke is playing i think he will make triple hundred and husssey "the match winner" is on 55 and when he gets on he can pass hundred...But the draw is possible if the indians star like sachin, laxman, sehwag, dravid gets on...

Australia may declare their innings after adding around 100 hundred rums more. India cannot withstand the pressure as well as confidence of Australian bowling. So there are all possibilities of innings defeat of India. But Sachin can score a hundred, as he has similar long innings, when India fights to bat up to last over to avoid defeat.

Hmmm I think Australia will bat tomorrow till tea and bat us out of the game sandman.. They probably should have a lead of 500-550 by then and if that happens I don see anything other than an innings defeat for India..
Gambhir is not the Gambhir of old when he batted for ages against Newzealand, Sehwag knows only one way to play and will always give the Aussies a chance, Dravid and Laxman have looked scratchy , Kohli is just finding his feet and Sachin.. well you know... another time a billion fans will be praying for his century than for India to salvage something.. Seeing al this and as a true Indian cricket fan I fear for the worst. :( Wish team India proves me wrong..
