Merits & Demerits Of Polishing Shoe Daily... ??????

Way back when I was still studying- i do polish my shoes everyday. Same thing with my kids- i did polish their shoes everyday before going to school. Its always good to wear shoes that is nicely polished.

Hi Dassodils, Its laziest job to polish my shoe, daily in rush i wear my shoes so there is no time to put polish daily but once in a week mainly sunday I put the polish to my shoes. Apart from this, if i going to any important functions then I used to shine my shoes. The main advantage is it looks neat and also it makes you confident and comfort while interacting with peoples. My best advise is make your shoes to look good whenever your going to important functions which makes yourself confident and energetic. Have a nice day !

I honestly don't own any shoes that require polishing, so I can honestly say that I've never polished a pair of shoes. Now, my father did work in a professional environment and that did mean that he had to wear dress shoes to work all the time. I remember my mother would polish his shoes for him about one or two times each month. It was never any more than that though.

No I don't polish my shoes not even when I was in school. It wasn't requires or anything here in the USA. Maybe if someone is in private school or has strict parents but not me. Shoes are mention to get dirty that is what there purpose is for and it's not like people really look at your feet unless they have a foot fedish.

Hey..come to think about it...I can't even remember when I polished mine last!!hahahahaaaa

When I was workng I polished my shoes every day for 2 reasons. The first was to make sure I was smart for the office every day, and the second because I read somewhere that it nourishes the leather and helps the shoes last longer.

Hey Dassodils I just bought new FILA shoes. The shoes is with sporty look but I can wear them in party and college too. very cool. and important one they don't need polish. :D I chosen cause I don't have time to polish haha keep mylotting have a nice day!!

Well I seldom polish my shoes. I actually avoid polishing it. First reason is because I'm lazy and second is I always seem to forget. But my shoes doesn't look like it needs polishing. Hahaha. There are time though when I NEED to polish it. Like on special occasions like when there are school visitors. I also polish it when I have really lots of time and I remember or when my dad will tell me that my shoes look awful. Hahah. But one thing's for sure. I don't polish it in rainy season. It's useless because it will become muddy afterwards.

Hey dassodils, i think you need to polish your shoes ones a week polishing and cleaning is different. What i do is I polish my sure before the first day of the week starts, then for the remaining days i just clean my shoes with moist cloth and cloth dry it afterwards. As the saying goes cleanliness is next to Godliness.

I have two lovely good shoes. I used to wear them when I use to go for good occasions but now a days I don't wear it because it take a lot of time to wear it. First of all putting socks and putting them. Really time consuming I think polishing shoes is good. It helps you shoes to last for long years by not allowing the moisture to act on it.

Once shoes resembles his personality. It is better to use always a polished shoe.A polished shoe looks nice. The polishing will give life to the shoes. If you are polishing the shoes very often the stiches will become waterproof and in normal rains also, nothing will happen to the shoes.These are the merits,which I can tell you. I cant see any demerits of polishing the shoes. May be the time and money whch we are spending will be a demerit. I used to polish my shoes most of the day.
