That is pretty dangerous condition while you are sleepy, drowsy while you are driving. Today, I felt that way while I was driving all the way from work to home. Gosh, why I just don't stop at the gas station, or somewhere parking lot to rest for a little, the after I am awake enough, I should drive again. Luckily, I still got my brain to distinguish the incoming and outgoing traffic, but my eyes wants to be shut. I constantly pinch my face, and my thigh trying to keep myself awake. I just want to be get home and get on my bed. Have you ever felt this way before?

Believe it or not, I ever feel that couple years ago.
When I drive my motorcycle, suddenly I get so sleepy. How stupid I am, didn't stop for a while.
The amazing is I can passed couple miles, and that was on the hill.Even I get fall, lucky me didn't fall into the valley.
Thanks to God.

Yes I had it several time. Even I drive with the window open and in the cold. But I think it's kind of "fainting". It's hard to describe. It's the reason I once bought a big van so if I feel it come I can stop somewhere, faint and my kids can stay in the car and play and are as safe as possible.
I guess if you don't stop it's because driving a car is something we do automatically, so even if we are tired we are still (somewhere) able to drive on (for a while).

Thankfully not, except for one time. It was fortunate enough that I was almost about home, as I was nodding off, so it was a matter of driving a little bit, less than a block and pulling right into the driveway. Then again, if I had nodded off, I would hope that I would have a sense to pull off somewhere and really bring myself to my senses, before getting myself back into the races.
Of course, thankfully this does not happen too often. There are a lot of people who get tired rather easily and they put themselves behind the wheel of the car. It might not seem that far but the travels seem rather longer when you are rather tired. Therefore there is just a disaster that is just waiting to happen and not a good time at all.

I have been there and done that. I remember those nights when I was driving home from work and I felt like I could just fall out. I would open a window, turn on the radio and concentrate on where I was going. Now, when I got home, I basically fell to the floor. I drained myself fighting back being tired.

Wow that is really dangerous. I think it is equally dangerous as texting or calling while driving. But nope I have never felt that way when driving. Coz I am always super alert when I am driving and I don't even talk much when driving. I'm just scared I might get into some accidents.

I don't know how to drive so I haven't been in that situation yet. My BF 'though can control his drowsiness when he's driving. He would drive the car as fast as he can to reach his place so he can sleep. It's really pretty dangerous to drive while you feel drowsy, better to stop somewhere, drink tea or coffee just to wake yourself up.

Hello,
You should be careful while driving because alert is really important. I dont drive because i dont have car but of course i should keep in my mind that i am driving. So, i did not experience it yet. You should keep in mind that it is for yourself. When you feel like that you should used other transportation. Make sure that when you drive your body is in condition.

That sounds very dangerous and risky...I'd suggest resting, and perhaps seeing a Doctor, if the problem persists.
