Almost all of us have one person as a role model in our life from every stage of life. But had you ever think that you can also be a role model to others. The incident happens for me a few days back near my home. We used to drink Tea at a shop where they use plastic use and throw cups. After drinking the tea they used to throw the cup in open space, so all over the place it were tea cups and looks ugly. I just think about it and bought a large unused waste box from the shop owner and put my tea cup in that, seeing this all the people starts to put their finished tea cups in that box. I request the shop owner to clean the box regularly and say him by keeping the place neat you can increase the customers. He also accept it and following now.
The shop owner being in my age accept my words as friendly one and followed. I felt very happy, this incident makes me to plan for some more good things to society.
Hope few of our myloters may have act as role model in some situation, share your exprience about that.
Have nice day !

Hello yaso4u,
You did a great job there and hope many of the people learnt a lesson from you.Yes we should always try to do such things and try to make people follow it.But there are people which are hard and don't accept the things which they should in that case we should not leave doing the work from our side.

Oh, potentially be a role model to others, that is a scary thought. But if I had inspired people to do something good in some way, then that is admirable. I just hope that it was good anyway. There are a lot of times where I'm sure there might be a couple of people who look at something that I might do and think that might be a good idea.
Just hopefully it is a good thing. No clear examples really come to mind but I am certain that there is something. I think that society in general really should do with a few more role models but they are truly few and far between to say the very least. It is rather scary to think about how many people act like the role model but they have their agenda.

There was this younger girl that I took pity on so I defended and protected her as it was her first job, she was phillipine and even another woman that came from the same country as her was willing to take advantage on her and was actually the person I protected the girl from.
She then begin to say nice things about me after a while, and even introduced me to her mom and her mother said they were lucky to meet me. I was so surprised and very moved, it was supposed to be a lunch, I didn't know they were going to say that. I was teary then, lol.

hi there. It's a nice job you did there. Nowadays, some people are just throwing there garbage from anywhere. That's why sometimes this causes some blocked drainage and flood in the streets.

I'm frequently a role model to other young woman in wheelchairs, especially other young women of color in wheelchairs. This is because such women don't frequently have role model to look up to. I try to be dedicated, trustworthy, friendly, and other good qualities for them to imitate. It's the least I can do.

That's really kind of you.
Besides, it takes one to rule the others.
Like what you have done, now others are following since they can see that the result was really good.
Keep it up and do more good things

I commend you for that act. Good job! Not everyday do we see a person do something like that to make the place clean and earth friendly. As for me, my role model would be my mom. She gives good advice and she's really hardworking. When she became a housewife after retiring as a medical technologist, I am amazed at how capable she is at home especially when taking care of our family. So to follow suit, I also did the household chores so as to help her and lessen her burden. My dad and my brother also helped in doing the chores at home. Now, I have my own family and the things that she taught me will be passed on to the next generations to come.

You were indeed a role model to others my friend. I must say , that perhaps the shop owner felt some humiliation deep inside of him, when the people followed your example. He could have done it himself, but he has no initiative.
Keep up that nice attitude my friend.
