You know many people who snore in their sleep, but sometimes you are still awake and are going crazy because they snore LOUD! I gt a mum and dad who snore really hard and Iam always sleeping really late. I always hear them snore, even closing my door isn't working! Do you guys/gals have any experience with snoring people? And what are you doing to prevent the annoying sound?

That's really an annoying situation. When you are not used to having a noisy environment when you sleep, it could really wreck your sleep. Maybe you can put some cotton balls on your ears when you sleep, so you won't be disturbed by their snores.

It is really quite annoying and really wakes us up.At home,I usually sleep at the living room so I don't have a hard to sleep and hear the snore. At work,an office mate use to snore when taking a nap during lunch break.I usually put some earphone for me not to hear his loud snore hehe.

We had a cure for snoring in the army. Someone would get up and kiss the snorer on the lips. He would then stay awake all night wondering who the hell it was that had kissed him!

Snoring is a very natural thing and a very annoying thing. But there is not really much legally that you can do to stop a personal snoring. Well from a legal and a moral standpoint you can't do anything...but never mind. There are some people who really can gain some momentum. If we can channel their snoring into energy, then it could be a viable energy source. Anyone who snores is not allowed to sleep within hearing distance of me. I'm just rather glad that my hearing is not tops, that is really something that comes handy for once. Of course there are times where people get loud. And I may in fact snore, we don't know what we do when we sleep. Unless of course we tape record ourselves when we sleep and let's face it, that's kind of creepy.

Yeah, it's really a problem if you are not used to sleep beside or near the people who do snores. And what makes it worst is, if it's too loud to ignore. I do snores too especially if I'm too tired before I go too sleep. My wife keeps on complaining that my snores is too loud making it hard for her to sleep. Sometimes she puts an ear plug to her ears, ha ha. Later on, she read an article about snoring and learned that sleeping on my side lessens my snoring, sometimes it did but most of the time not. I guess she is used to my snoring because she doesn't complain anymore or maybe sleeping on my side do the trick.

You literally can't do anything about it. My dad snores very loudly. What what you need to do is make a little tap or something and they stop snoring, but it returns eventually. The nostrils make the snoring sound. My friends and i once tried clipping the nose of another friend who was snoring loudly and voila, he stopped snoring. I guess it happens when the brain is deprived of oxygen. So try telling them to raise their heads a little bit.

I heard that snoring while asleep has something to do with heart problems, I don't if it is true, but most people who snores were middle-age adults. I have several experiences of having some friends snoring when they sleep, that was so disturbing, you even want to wake them up just to let yourself get some sleep. Snoring can be minimized by encouraging the people who snored in side lying position. I don't know if this will be so effective all the time but at least you can try. Good Luck!

Goodmorning sivaeinfo, Thanks for your tips, but the problem with my faher is is his position when he sleeps. When he is on his back he snores, but when he lays sideways, he doesn't snore. My mother doesn't care even sideways she snores, but she doesn't snore loud. I always listen to music under my blanket to fade the snore sounds away.

Yes, my brother and my grandma snores. And I used to hate it because I can't sleep. Later on when I worked far and had to live with roommates; they told me I was snoring too Some says you can tap the person who snores so they would change their sleeping position. But some don't wanna be disturbed while sleeping so I just let them snore.
