When I have menstruation, my backbones really hurt a lot. When I sleep, I put a pillow at my back so that the pain will be eased a little. It really hurts. Does anyone of you here have experienced this?

You get pains in your lower back because that's where your ovaries are and they get sore during menstruation.

No problem! I used to wonder this same thing and a nurse told me about the ovary thing. Glad I was able to help :)

Yes it is fairly normal, it used to be worse for me when younger though. i'm 40ish and now the pain isn't as bad, but then again i cut back on more sugar, salt, etc these days too. I had some pain recently and just used a heating pad and it went away.

I have, i mean.. all the time! whenever i have my monthly i would always have a back ache and it would even cause my thigh to go numb! i usually can tell if menstruation is coming as i would feel my back aching. i would find it hard to find a good position that would relieve my back aches.

So, I'm not alone here! Yay cheers! Hmm, what medicines do you take as a remedy to this? Have you consulted a doctor or what? Hehe. I'm thinking maybe it could be a sign of Osteoporosis. Oooh no.

i do not think that backbone pains during menstruation is normal, it often occurs after delivery of after misscarage
