Lately,in an effort to improve on my earnings I have been doing more tasks.In the past I usually shy away from the task for some strange reason opting for traditional participation.However,the past week has seen me doing more and more task and I am being richly rewarded for it.Dont get me wrong Ill never stop posting because It has rich non monetary rewards but It does help to compensate the tradtional participation
What has been your experience in this regard ?

yes friend i am also prefer to do task on mylot because tasks there are very helpful to increase income rather then posting you earn fast by tasks .so i look task menu in in order to search some good and payable task every day and i concentrate more on tasks than posting.

I tend to earn more from tasks too. I usually go for ones that will pay an okay amount for my time, though I rarely see any that I actually want to do. I do still prefer posting when I can't find tasks that I can do, due to some tasks only for people who live in certain countries and such, or the level of difficulty is worth more than the task creators set it up to be. I also am someone who shies away from the tasks. On other sites, I have tried tasks. They are always too long, too confusing and I never am successful.
Is it possible that mylots tasks are different? How long do the tasks take you?

You should try the tasks here. At first, I wasn't interested because of the very low price of each task. But when I started working on tasks, I got addicted.
Would you like to do easy tasks? Of course, you would! 
Try working on leaving comments. It costs $.02, and it will only take a minute or two to finish it. If you have a faster Internet connection, I think you can complete the task in less than a minute. You may also try simple sign ups. Some cost $.02, $.03, or $.05, others are sometimes $.10 or $.25. You may also digg some stories. If you don't have a Digg account yet, you can easily create one. Digging stories is the fastest.
Would you also like to work for article writing and rewriting? They cost $.15, $.25, $.30, etc. depending upon the number of words required. There are still other tasks. Why not check them and try completing some today? Good luck!

Thanks for the info. I will check out the tasks today. Other sites that I am on offer tasks but they take about 30 minutes and you have to be very accurate or not get compensated. I have also found them to be very complex.
Mylot tasks must be something different.
I will try some and then give you some feedback.

I did go to tasks and complete a simple task that pays 3 cents. I joined a site and it was simple to do. My 3 cents is pending.

I haven't messed with the Tasks yet, as I enjoy posting more.
That & some of the tasks do seem to be really long & involved or downright confusing.

You need to try them because they represent an interesting supplement to your earning power here and diversifies teh experience too.There is nothing to be afraid of ,just try it .You may need to try simple ones first before doing the more complex ones .I personally liek teh rewrites but they can be very tricky and demanding at times and there is no guarantee that the tasks will be accepted

hello, Ronny. I've only been doing tasks for a few days, as the site I write for has not had much worth bothering with. I've done the rewrites, and all the tasks I tried were accepted, so I've earned more from tasks this week than posting. I quite like the rewrites, as I can do them quite quickly, and I've also commented on posts. I haven't done any of the sign ups - I don't want to get spammed.

I know that there are a lot of members of the site that are able to make a fair amount of money by taking part in tasks. However, this is not something that I've ever done because of the fact that whenever I've looked at the tasks that are available, there are really not any that are interesting to me.
I guess this is really something that does go to show that what works for one person is not the same thing that will work for another person.

I didn't participate in completing those tasks regularly, I am more into posting though. Maybe you are right, it is much faster and more rewarding if you take the tasks, we all have different methods to achieve our payout goal. I hope that you work out on those tasks well. I hope that I can get my payout soon too.

And I earn more from searching than posting xD.
There were days which I was being busy that I can't actively participated in myLot discussions. But I still used myLot search as my main search engine, so I had got rewards several times.. :D
So, there was a week that I earn nothing from discussion, but I earned some cents from searching! XD

I also like doing tasks more rather than posting since it pays more but it seems that there are task creators in mylot who doesn't pay. I only know one tas creator who really pays and I look out for the tasks that he gives. Of course when it comes to learning I go for posting since I get to interact with many people.

I also do tasks. So far, my tasks are approved and I am happy about it. But I earn more on posting than doing tasks. I like to participate on discussion that I really know. Using mylot search tool is also my way of earning. I was rewarded several times now. So far the biggest amount I got was 18 cents. Not bad right? Happy mylotting!

Yes., I like to do task than discussion because task pay more money. But i too initially scared about scam, spyware in this. Tillnow i don't have that problem. I have doubt in that. There are limited task are available in the mylot. How can i do more mylot task.

I hardly ever do tasks. Since the tasks were introduced I have only done 3 or 4 tasks. Most of time I even forget to have a look at the available tasks, because I am too busy starting discussions or responding to discussions. I find that a lot more interesting than the tasks, because I love discussions and I love the interaction with other members. I might do a task again one day if I find something that sounds interesting for instanse a PTP site, but it not something that I think about very often.

to these days and I tried on these tasks.
I am very happy because it made ??a dollar or so in no time.
This is just really nice when there are problems.
I am also well rewarded and I am glad now that I will always look for tasks to increase my income.
