Well, fighting seems a frequent incidents in my work place. Today, two co - workers from 2 different departments were fighting about the mislabeling issue. It was all good if you see it at different perspective. They all have to do just to re - write the label on the inventory, and discarded the typos. They seems take out their personal matter and fight for it for over 20 minutes of verbal fight. We were all listening to it, and no one ever interfere. Maybe because our supervisor wasn't here either. We just let it go on, and some of us even laugh about it silently. Anyway, from what I saw, the issue wasn't about the mislabeling. It was about some personal conflict between these two personnel. They might not talk to each other for a month I guess.

Wow, you and your other colleagues are lucky to have witnessed a live drama! :) I think that it was actually good that nobody interfered with the verbal action that is taking place that time because the 2 concerned parties were able to belt out their emotions and speak whatever is between their ears. Hope that they immediately smooth out any curls between them :)

Sometimes, a fight between co-workers would start on what was really the subject. But as the quarrel escalates, the verbal attacks becomes that of the past personal grudges they have for each other. That's when the quarrel becomes nasty and hilarious, because of some revelations by the both of them. And after that, they will never be on speaking term again, except when it is needed for official matters.

I think you will find a lot of arguments are not really about the subject at hand, even between husband and wife, a lot of the times there is an underlying little thing on the mind, I think having another issue sometimes makes people get nasty about other little things as a sort of release without getting to the actual underlying issue.
