They may be Red Hot, but they aren't the Chili Peppers. I was a massive fan of the Red Hot Chili Peppers for years. Even before John Frusciante was a memeber, but now with John gone, it's just not the same for me. That man brought in melodies, guitar riffs and guitar solo's that are irreplaceable in my opinion. The last Chili Peppers album in my opinion will be Stadium Arcadium. Its unfortunate but what can ya do?!

Every guitarist has own characters when he plays guitars. When RHCP with others guitarist they're still created a good songs.I think the next guitarist of course have to learn about RHCP songs and melodies. So they can together to created good songs. But John absolutely still in the heart of a thousands of RHCP fans.

I am a big fan of Red Hot Chili Peppers and I will agree with you about this, John Frusciante is such a big part of Red Hot Chili Peppers' distinct sound, their latest singles the "Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie" and "monarchy of Roses" doesn't sound so great actually if I heard these songs in a radio (and not in MTV) I will never recognized that these are Red Hot Chili Peppers songs.
