Would you rather die young or old?

I save myself from worrying about leaving this world. I know I want to live a longer life to make the most of it but I don't own this. As long as we are here, that is what matters. Our duty is to take care of this life and search for our purpose here on earth. Life is good no matter how hard it may be. So whether I live to be fifty and above or be gone before that age, it doesn't matter. What matters most is now and so I choose to live it well.

I would love to hear your thoughts on my discussion of dying soon. I am terminally ill as of now that is why I wrote both of this discussions. I just hope and pray that when my time comes it is not too painful to bare. God bless.

You know what, I do not know how to react if I was to be given fifteen more years to live. Do I have to suffer fifteen more years. Its not that I am being pessimistic, but after all the suffering I have been through in the hospital, fifteen years would be an agony I don't know I can handle very optimistically.

I got sad having read your present situation. To say that you are terminally ill is an admission that you are past the denial stage. I had lost my mom and sister through the big C. You know what? They were the ones who taught me to love life. Sad it may seem, their illness, however, brought my family closer to one another. I saw the purpose in it. Stay strong madonna. Keep your faith and offer everything to the Almighty. No one knows when and how life's gonna end. I don't want to sound so religious but it's true that we can always turn to the Almighty God, for support, strength and salvation. Most of us may not be ill but like anyone else, we all have our deadlines. So, love, forgive and be happy. It is important to stay strong and keep your faith, enjoy life and share its goodness. Savor it while it lasts.

I would not want to die young. Of course I would love to enjoy my life as much as I can and spend it with people I love.

In as much as I want to do this, perhaps everything happens for a reason. I just hope and pray if my time comes, it would not be as hard as I picture it would be. God bless.

I agree with you. Everything in life is unexpected. We'll just be surprised. As for me I don't wanna think about that. But whenever it would come to mind, I feel scared too. But if it happens to me. I want it to be peaceful.

hmmm, seeing that I am now 56, I guess I'd have to say after 50!! It seems like only yesterday that I was just twenty years old!

Time does really seem so fast. I also don't believe my age as of now. I feel as though I must still be in my early 20's. We just have to make the most out f life. Thanks for the reply!

Human being is mortal. We are human gonna die someday. I believe in God has decided already every living thing time to die, so we have hardly no choice. My intention is to do maximally what I wanted to achieve in my life, because life is so beautiful to just wait to dying. Have a nice day.

At the very least, though I may be young now, if God were to choose me anytime soon, I have made a few preparations which I hope would be enough. God Bless.

I would die happy and contented. It does not matter whether I am old or young as long as I am happy.
It is better to look at life as to its quality not quantity. What's the use of living beyond fifty if you are miserable and unhappy? So it is better to live and die fulfilled , contented and happy.

I think that is my ultimate goal also, but time does not seem to be always on our side. Time flies so fast and we still got to accomplish a lot of things.

I think the age when we expire is not so important as the life we have lived prior to our expiry date. Different people live in vastly different circumstances. I am fortunate to live in a country where there is freedom of speech but there are probably many mylotters who live in countries where this is not the case.
I am by no means a wealthy man but I cherish my health and strength which is worth much more than material riches.

It's a question actually if we are ready for it. I don't want to end up like some one being a Ghost simply because I wasn't prepared for it. but if being ready is concerned i would rather die out of old age. My mom is still alive, i want to live long as she did. but maybe i don't want to die with out doing something important though

Well I think that is a good way to live your life. I have also helped a lot of people in my life and hopefully I could do more to earn the merits of heaven. Have a nice day!

Given the choice I wouldn't choose any of the two coz I don't want to die. Life is so beautiful, each day is a gift that I want to cherish every single moment of my life. But if there is no other option left, I'd rather die old coz I would like to live in this world longer than anyone else have.

Well definitely most people want to die old. I want to die at the age of 101+ years old if possible. But If I can reach 75+ then I'm blessed. Still I want to do lots of things in 1 year.
