After one whole day of working, studying and stress, we get to sleep during the night to give some peace and rest to our soul. However, I have noticed that some people sleep with a blanket while others prefer not to. Why is that so? Do you sleep with a blanket?
Most of the time I don't sleep with blanket because I think it is hot, uncomfortable and restraining. I sweat if I don't turn on the air conditioner. It is hard for me to move my body, legs and arms too.

yes, i do sleep with blankets cause it makes me feel comfortable everytime i do have one. like ckyera said, i can somehow sleep without pillow, but it's better to have one than nothing at all. i usually sleep with three to four pillows, but i always sleep with blankets on. the warmth of it makes me feel relaxed and keeps me from shaking specially when it's cold weather.

friend, I feel the same way with you. Blanket covering me when sleeping makes me feel protected. In winter, especially the freezing days, two blanket is necessary for me, otherwise I will wake up with my feet ice-cold, while in summer, I just need a thin bed-sheet on my belly in case of coldness.

I use an electric sheet plus a dawn quilt in Winter and a lighter blanket in Summer. No heaters, no Air Conditioning for me. We don´t need Central Heating where I live as Winters are mild. I have a couple o gas heaters that I turn on and off. In Summer, I use shorts at home an that´s enough.

Yes I do sleep with blankets specially during the cold season. When it is summer, I usually do not use my blanket at first but during dawn, I would wake up because of the cold and that would be the time to take my blanket again.
I know some people who cannot sleep without putting mosquito net on their feet, that is weird.

Yes, I do. Especially when it is cold in our place. But there are times too when i don't. I mean, I would sleep without a blanket but then after some time when it's dawn already, I would wake up and put the blanket on me when it is cold.

I sleep with a blanket all the time. I have an especially soft one that was given to me as a present. I always sleep with blankets because I'm usually cold and it just makes me feel more comfortable to have something to curl up with.

If you were to move to Northern America or Canada in the winter, you wouldn't ask why anyone sleeps with a blanket..Right now in America we are having a mild winter, and yet I still sleep with one blanket..If we were having a bad winter, it can be as bad as sleeping with 3-4 blankets..

It seems that you are a too hot blooded guy, I too feel the same in summer regions but while in winter i take blankets to get the warmth of it, I feel better when atmosphere is quite cold and on top of that blanket acts like a sleeping pill i say this because the combination of both of these gives charm to body and gives you deep sleep. My mom needs a blanket every month wheather it is summer or cold she needs blanket and she feels cold very fast. I still don't remember why does it happen with her and why she feels like that way. The only reason iam able to think is that may be she doesn't eat too much poultry products because eating lots of that might have an impact on your body temperature, secondly i think the reason people feel cold in other season is because of water in their body the more water a person drinks the better it is to maintain the temperature.

I sleep with a blanket because...well that is just the way I have always slept to say the very least. Granted, there are times where I have kicked it off in the heat of the night. Still there are times where I cannot sleep in an area without a blanket and pillows during the middle of the night. There is just really something about really laying down to sleep with a blanket.
Therefore it is because of how I always sleep. Other people sleep in different ways, but there is just something about a blanket that makes the puzzle that allows me to go to sleep better. There are a lot of times where I need to head to sleep, with a smile right on my face. So yeah that is just the way that I roll and more importantly the way I sleep.

No, I seldom use a blanket unless it's too cold. I'm was not used to having blanket on me while sleeping because I think my movement is restricted, and besides I live in a tropical country which is hot all year round.

I live in a cold area and i also have medical reason to why i get cold easy. so i always sleep with a blanket. even in the summer when it is hot.. I know it's odd but the smallest things make me cold and it takes me forever to warm up.

after so much of heftic schedule and lot of work our physical and mental level reached the level of fatigue, in that case we need some rest to rejuvenates, thats why we sleep. and if we talk about talking about sleeping habbit, lots of peoples have diffeent different kinds of habbits. some sleeps with pillows, some snors, and some like sleeping with blankets which you have mentioned. i thinks sleeping with blankets make them feel comfortable thats whay they so, their is no special reason behind sleeping with the blankets or other objects.

i MUST sleep with blanket no kidding lol if its hot air conditioner must be turned on, and of cos if the weather is cold there is a very valid reason for sleeping with blankets. Well without blankets honestly i feel naked and unprotected, it's just mental purely. Also i sometimes cover my face with blankets though it's real bad for skins. Trying to get rid of this bad habit :(

i always sleep with a blanket sometimes just on my stomach so i wont get stomach cramps in the morning and sometimes only on my legs to keep me from having leg cramps but when its totally cold like last night i slept with my blanket totally covering my whole body. sometimes i even use two blankets during the very cold months like December and January.

I don't cover my body while I am sleeping. It is so hot here on this island. My place is in the middle of a small island. I wear sarong when I sleep in the night and sure without clothe and pants. It's so damn hot here. You can't sleep with blanket.

I love to sleep with a blanket because I have been doing so since i was born. It gives me a cosy feeling and I feel very comfortable and secure with a blanket. If you ask me to sleep without a blanket... i wont be able to sleep. Blanket also keeps me warm and I can have my own privacy too...

I've gotten used to sleeping with a blanket, in spite of the tropical climate here in my country. It's usually hot during the day, but the nights sometimes can get cold and rainy

I can't sleep without any blanket! It just gives me more privacy and comfort whenever I use one. This is the perfect cover for any any part of your body that you don't want to be accidentally exposed. Of course, we wouldn't know entirely what is happening during our sleep but it is just reassuring to know before we lay in the bed that we have a cover to count on. I have here a blanket that I have been using for 10+ years now and I can't imagine myself replacing it with another even though I've already outgrown it :)
