Are you stressed out? Find out what type are you when you are stressed!!!!
a) THE PRESSURE COOKER: they are those who end up engaging in verbal arguments and dumping pressure on those who don't necessarily deserve it.
b) THE CROCK POT: they are the ones who burn out and get really, really weary when they are stressed.
c) THE DOUBLE BOILER: they don't feel responsible for their stress, they blame it on to others!!!

Of the three types I think I identify most closest to the Crock Pot. I'm pretty opinionated, and don't mind strong debate up to a point, but I hate aggressive verbal arguments, and try to avoid them. I try and keep under control when I'm stressed, so would be loth to openly blame others for my stress; I am wary of saying wounding things when I'm stressed, because they can do a lot of damage. I can get burned out and weary when I'm stressed; I'll feel on edge and irascible, but I'll work to resolve it as quickly as possible by avoiding stressors as much as possible.

I am sure there are probably a few more stress categories in addition to those you have mentioned. The simple fact is we all require a certain amount of stress for us to be able to perform effectively. The difficulty occurs when the stress level builds up to a degree which supersedes our coping mechanism and then an outlet is required.
There are a number of sources where people can get help with this. I once worked in a job where the stress levels were high and, in addition, I was commuting 120 miiles per day to work and back. Not surprisingly, this started to take its toll on me and I was advised to take up a physical activity to reduce the stress level.
I took up running and all I can say is that it worked for me.
