How can I add HTML and change colors of links and texts on my profile properly?

i tried to add html code to my profile but when i saved it, the changes doesn't show. also i tried to edit the colors of links and texts on my profile but when i saved it, the changes also doesn't come out. why is it like this? i would like my profile to look organized.
