Yeah... everyone dreads filing. For those who deal with paperwork, when do you file? Do you file it as it comes or do you pile it up for one big mambo jumbo filing time?

its okay to do some filing but sometimes it really needs time especially if there are multiple documents you need to file. In my workplace, I handle several of it. From the contractors to suppliers to tenants. Wheew! Papers really make a mess on my table and it really makes me sick.

mmhhh... I like filing.
if I have time, I will put the papers direct in the right place.
If i am still busy with other things, I will put the papers in some trays, according to the subject (incoming letter or out), then I will do it later.
If you wait too long until the papers pile up for one big mambo jumbo...... you will get headache whenever you need the papers. And also, the piles will make your work place messy and not nice to work in a messy place.

Whether you are working in a conglomerate of companies or in a small office, the most practical thing to do is to file those papers as they come. Otherwise, you will end up having a backlog of filing to do. You will never know when the Boss ask for it. That was exactly I was doing when I was still working. Filing papers at once also enabled me to use my time properly on my other duties and responsibilities in the office.
