What is the problem?

Ok, since yesterday I've been having some serious issues with my laptop and I have no idea what's wrong. I wanted to post this last night, but with the issues, I couldn't get the page to load to do so. Things seem better today, but that really doesn't mean anything at the moment. My wireless card seems to be malfunctioning, has been for a while now. But even when my connection speed was up to par, pages were not loading or were extremely slow to load. A boot scan resulted in 43 infections that I got rid of, and I defragmented my C drive as well. Malware scan showed nothing, spyware resulted in 4 infections. None of these fixes seemed to have helped my system last night, as there were still problems. So far today, things seem to be running normal again, but I don't know how long this will last. I'm wondering what diagnostics I should run, thinking maybe my motherboard is dying or something else. Anyone have ideas?
