Do you find yourself working or playing on the internet a waste of time? I have a few sites that I work on each day which are primarily pay to click sites. One of these sites is a traffic exchange site that pays per 1,000 clicks. Sometimes I ask myself why I am wasting my time and then other times I think it's something to do and I can earn. What are your thoughts?

I don't think it's a waste of my time. I might have considered Facebook a waste of my time before I learned that we can earn something from it. I've wasted my time before just playing games. LoL!
Now at least when you have work or business, you can still continue working on the internet. It will be an additional earnings.

Oh let me correct what I wrote earlier, sorry!
I might have considered Facebook a waste of my time before I learned that we can earn something from THE INTERNET... sites like this that I have discovered so late.
But, there is also an application in Facebook where you can earn. I installed it on my account but hasn't started anything yet. I am not good in writing articles so I have not continued it. There are other tasks there too and maybe you can try it.

Doing some things you want as long as those can make you happy but for boring, just like me, I get in Mylot on and off major to learn how about what thoughts of different people from different country with a same thing, it is obviously a big difference there, ex, I don't think that spending time here is a waste of time, on the contrary, I get what I want and happy here, I guess, loging in other sites I have chosen as well.

I wouldn't always classify it as a waste of time because anything we do online is an experience we can learn from. I understand what you mean though. It does get discouraging when you put a lot of time and effort into trying to earn online, only to see little to no money. But I wouldn't necessarily say it's a complete waste of time however.

It depends on how you view internet. As for me internet is such a big help. From here I get information for my researches in my studies and aside from that I also get to earn. I don't see it as a waste of time because I value what I do here in the internet.

Looking from the payment side, it sure is not going to be just a matter of waste of precious time. Some sites really pay for the tasks underataken.

I don't feel that my Internet experience is a waste of time. I work on my websites and blogs and find it very fulfilling to compete out there on the net. I also spend a great deal of time on myLot where I have received some great advice and also helped others.. Of couse I have wasted time with traffic exchange sites in the early day. They simply don't work. People on there, well the majority of them, are only surfing so that others will get to look at their referral urls.. As I said, I did it for a few months, and got nothing at all out of it. The referrals I did get were people who came from my blogs, and they didn't really stay active.. Many look for free money where they don 't have to do anything, but as most of us know, it takes work and commitment. _Derek

It could be if you think that you can earn a living on the internet without a lot of effort. There is no such thing as a free lunch anything you get you will have to do something to get it. Being on the net is not a waste of time when you are trying to learn or find something out.

Im sitting here eating breakfast and doing mylots. If i think of the pennies i earn i would say its wasting time. However, its not because im doing something else as well. Even if im playing games i dont consider it wasting time because i feel i can do what ever i want to relax and enjoy some free time i have. Every one deserves alittle free time. Its just when you over induldge when its considered wasting time. Chores first then relaxation.

It's really a waste of time if we do something which is not worth enough. Like what you said play on the net or just browsing the net and facebook all days but get nothing while on the net that is a waste of time...
The reason of others was that a kind of fun to ease their boredom. But it might not be better that while using the internet we earn some?

Sometimes I do feel like I am wasting my time trying to earn a little bit of extra money from the internet. However, most of the time I'm able to see that it really does pay off for me. It might not be a lot of money that I'm making, but the little bits do add up of cash and I also average earning $50 in Amazon gift cards every month that I will use to do the majority of my holiday shopping every year. My goal this year is to completely finance Christmas with online earnings.

To be honest I waste lots of time on the internet. But the reason I surf internet a lot is that it is the easiest way to spend time. You know when you are working you look for something to keep youeself busy for a while. In that time internet is the most important facility to use.I usually use it for my job.And also I enter the internet everyday to learn english. In fact while I am writing this response I noticed that I wasted time. But the point we need to consider is that I learn a lot due to my lot.As a result if you have something to do, then it means you are busy with something.if you don't ,then you need to (waste) spend time.I mean if you have much more free time you should evaluate you time in the best way.For instance you can learn a language. As you know I have had some free time.So a year ago I decided to improve my english.Since then I am generally on the internet. So my english has been getting better. You know to communicate with foreign people makes me feel happy.Because I couldn't understand anything while people were speaking english 15 months ago.I didn't even know an english word except apple, table etc....So you don't waste your time. You spend time ideally.

I agree that some sites steal our precious time, but some of them can benefit us.I ask my friends what they usually do online and they answer me this:"Nothing".They watch random Youtube videos, read jokes, exchange funny pics with friends and check Facebook every 10 minutes. They think it's fun.I think it's a waste of time.I told them that they could cover their internet bill by completing simple tasks, but they're not interested. They want huge instant money.:D
I think it's surfing that makes you feel like you're wasting your time. It's boring, it really is.Especially when there are no cash surprises and contests.
