I regularly read about these in the past, life is to short to wake up in regret. We should believe that things happen for a reason. God has a purpose in allowing things to happen in our life. It may be to make us strong and prepare us for another challenge in our lives or to remind us about things that we need to give importance to or to encourage us to refrain from doing things not pleasant to Him and in a way not beneficial to us.
How about you, do you believe that things happen for a reason? And in your own experience what particular happenings you encountered wherein you were able to comprehend the true meaning of it?

It just happened to us recently.
My fathers brother and sister had a fight, that my auntie who supports their whole family(Uncle's family and grandma) decided to let our grandma stay in our house away from my Uncle till everything is fine.My grandma didn't spend a night in our house before so its a whole new thing for her and for us.
Along the way,we realized that its not only because of the fight that is why grandma needs to stay with us.There is another reason and we did not expect it to be like that. My father had not a chance to celebrate his birthday with grandma for centuries now.And they are so happy to have it celebrate that birthday together.
Now we are not talking about why she was here at first. We are all so happy to have her here with us and so as she.
I believe that every single thing has a reason. We just need to discover it ourselves and work on it

I also believe in this as well. I used to have lots of regrets in my life from things I would do, like hurting people. Now, I know the people how they treat me. Even if I knew the life meaning of hurting people, I still did it and now they are the ones who hurt me, not to mean it but sometimes, it is by accident and I get hurt. I wish I didn't have to deal with it but hey, I learn my lesson, it was my fault in the first place. The things I had told to those people, even if I feel bad about it now, its already done, there's nothing I can do about it to bring it back. I know not to do the same mistakes anymore. I guess it happened because I needed to learn what can happen if I made new friends. Imagine I still did it, how will the new friends act with me.... maybe worse what will they do to me...lol

yes I do believe this, when I think of the things that have happened to me because of something happening in the past, like a broken heart that I cried many tears over but if that did not happen then the highlight of my life would never have happened, meeting my teenage idol that was always in my heart and spending a short amount of time with him before he passed away, something I would never have wanted to miss, this time was meant to be...

I dont think this is true.
Its not necessary that things happen for a reason but the opposite is true.
If something is happening it will lead to something. Suppose if someone you love is going to die then what could be the reason for that.
All i can say is that we must keep going forward and must keep a balance in life.
