type of second job to make money

I am running into alot of people who work some type of second job to make money. Some of them are traditional jobs that allow part time work like retail. But many of my friends are setting up unusual part time businesses on the side to make money in an interesting way.
Here is how I am making extra money above and beyond my day job:
I have registered at every Market Research Company in the area to participate in Focus Groups. I get called often and so far this year I have made about $1000.00
I sell books on Amazon that I find at Library Book sales. In some cases books I find for $1.00 at the Library is sold for $89.00 on Amazon. Made about $2000 last year.
I teach adult education classes at the Community College and at the School District. Made about $1000 last year. Lots of fun.
I cash those 0% Credit Card Convenience Checks and deposit them in the BANK and collect interest on the money until the promotional rate ends. I made about $1500 on this last year.

Most of my online money I make from writing articles, but don't do a lot, my overtime rate is $37 per hour and can do this logged in from home so am trying to find things that beat this but not found anything that works out more than that yet.

$37 an hour is from my full time job, I can do extra hours from home but it's very specialised so not really one you could start online. I know this is a good rate but looking to keep my options open.
For writing articles I mainly use constant content, this is the best site I can find. You set the price you want for anything you write and you can either write for requested titles or anything you like.
Everything is proof read to a very high standard, but this means that the prices are higher, most of my articles have sold for about $20, think $40 is the highest I have managed so far. The site keeps 35% so you get $13 for a $20 article. If you don't meet their standards your article will be rejected but you can correct and resubmit.

Congratulations on making extra money - I know that is tough. I have a 2nd job working Concierge at a retirement community on Saturdays and I also work online. Last year I managed to make about 3200 online - mostly through surveys and writing. Seems like I am always working. I like your idea about the books and will have to try it.

wo, you making very good money from second job. i will tell about my second jobs
1. i and wife sell credit pulse, and we make about 3 dollars in recent few days
2. i am an agent of refiil water at home, and i make about 5 dollars monthly
3. i do some online microjobs, i made about 70 dollars last month.
4. i sometimes write for local newspaper, and i make about 10 dollars, sometimes more. ever 100 in one month
but in here, indonesia, the living cost is so cheap. we just need 1 dollars for eating

i share some tips for gettng referral, based on my own and friends' experience:
1. promote this site in forum where you active. tell about mylot, and show payment proof you have
2. promote it on you blog, liek a review.
