Worm steals 45 000 Facebook passwords

According to Seculert 800 000 machines were infected with Ramnit worm. This worm help hackers to steal your facebook passwords and have access to your profile. The worm infect html and executable files and stealing sensitive information such as FTP credentials and browser cookies.

Norton Antivirus detect it and can be cleared.

It happened too in some sites. Wherein you have tried everything just to enter in. Hope these websites could help the users to protect thier privacy...Hope it's not an inside job... :)

Is it true? If so, it could be a disaster. Nowadays, people are highly involved in the Internet. Getting our passwords stolen may result in variety of serious trouble. For example, if you use the same password in the other websites, you may get those accounts unsafe. Oh, best wishes...

That is true. DONT USE THE SAME PASSWORD on other sites. I use this technic to have my password hard to find. If you have your password for example "qwerty" then for the websites i use i do this. Site name is yourdomain.com i use "yourdomain_qwerty" and like this you have unique password for every site.

My small brother lost his FB page after making it very good with HTML template.He can still view his page but cannot access on it.He tried to mesage the new owner but the hacker denies it.

I hope he not use a free template, because most of the time free template have a ceurity problems and they are easy hackable.

Today my dad's facebook account can't be opened due to some virus. My brother's job is to remove virus but while checking my dad's laptop he could not determine what virus it is as he said it couldn't be detected. He tried to remove it by finding similar situation online. We have to be vigilant and careful with the files we're seeing on facebook. Some of the files we see on Facebook walls have virus.
