The bible is the word of God. My parents taught me a lot of stories about God found in the bible. It is such a wonderful opportunity that God has given us the chance to know him and learn about the lessons about his life and his word. I am very proud to be a Christian and that was the advantage that I have right now to share this feeling, knowing that when everything goes wrong, the bib le always reminds us that never surrender and continue the fight against temptation and against the hardships in life.

You are right everything that we need to know is in the Bible. My parents taught me how to pray since I was young. And it is wonderful. Yes when things in our lives does not go the way they should all the time ,because trials comes our way on an off, we still have to stay close to our creator. Never surrender.

You are absolutely right that the Bible contains everything a person needs to live a life pleasing to God. Of course, Christians can also benefit from reading other books of many different types. Thanks for sharing your faith.

THE HOLY BIBLE...it is really precious. It incorporates flinty nuggets of worldly wisdopm. Apart from being letting us realize the many facets of everyday life, BIBLE provides instances of worldly experiences to cherish and follow.

Honestly, before I'm not fond of reading the Bible. I thought its boring.. But, when the time comes that I was depressed and all I can think are negative thoughts, there are some friends told me to try reading and learn the words of God. That's then I was enlighten. I was told by its content to set myself free in the darkness. You know, after that, i became more positive and appreciative about life. When I'm down, I just see myself reading The Bible. It is indeed a great feeling. I'm a proud Christian too. Welcome here in myLot!

The bible is a bit of a mess. I mean my bible needs to be replaced. It is old the pages are worn and it is sloppy when it opens up. Some of the bible is missing something because the text that it was translated from was missing (now where was that book located, in the new testament I think), it is a book even the common person can learn from because of the simple illustrations Jesus used. It has multiple authors and many books which give different perspectives on many things out of history so old, yet we can use it for everyday life if we don’t take things to literal or mis-interrupt it which is something easy to do. It is clear yet it is also a mystery to be yet revealed.

Yes, myjesza. The Bible is truly an amazing book that practically has answers to every question under the sun. It reveals God foremost-- His love, character, joy, admonitions, commands, desires, long-suffering and plans. Furthermore, it is the only book that reveals our inner selves, our nature and what is in store for humanity at the end of the ages. Through our Executive Minister in the Church, I and the rest of the brethren have come to the Biblical knowledge of His nature, ways and wants. Thanks be to God for giving two faithful leaders in our fold.
