I have shared my deep dark secrets with you all.
Now, my father has executed his will. We found the documents based on which I had held his sister responsible for death of my mother, and his financial downfall. I'd quite forgotten about them..in any event, he read them and recalled the events in sequence, and realized that there was a nasty foul play with him, my mother, and me. He realized I'd been defamed for the better part of my life, and that I needed to be protected..
So he wrote a preamble to that will which will keep my relatives very far from me indeed.
You all have been there for me. Taking my mind off my problems. And you all have been patient to core for listening me out.
Cant but help feeling grateful to all of you. My heart is filled with love and gratitude towards each one of you.
Thanks sweeties, kiddos, ma, bros, ..and myLot..

Dam.. I forgot my age is visible...
About that proposing a girl thing.. well actually I am single and... aahh.. ready to mingle... Your words do give me courage. You know.. I believe... my turn will come too... soon... yeah... thats what, I.. I be.. believe.....
ok.. I ain't sure yet....topic change now...
I m happy for you that all those misunderstandings which had clouded your relations with your family members is now cleared and the sun is shining brightly for you. Its feel good when others realize your worth, that how wrong and ignorant they were. This feeling alone give us contentment and a drive to move forward in life. This new year is indeed turning out to be a special one for you.
Stay happy.. enjoy life and keep moving forward.

OMG - you've been around for 3 years! So you are a veteran...for your 21 years.
Thanks kiddo..and I assure you none of my wishes will clash with yours..so go ahead propose to any girl you love, I wont interfere.
Seriously, till such thing as solving of my problem happened, I used to wish that my father should live so long that by the time all my detractors die. :) I ain't joking. I used to wish they fall sick, or become bedridden, or meet with accident or something. But now, I wish they realize how they failed me, and keep away from me our of remorse rather than anything else. There is too much water under the bridge for us to put everything behind. But realization where they went wrong and subsequent withdrawal from my life would be great. I dont want to spend my remaining life wishing them ill, come on. I have lost so many years of my life.. in fact though serious problems have been there since I was 5 and a half, I have suffered regularly at their hands since last 30 odd years. Now, it is no more, either from within my brain or from their end.
My student makes me smile everyday with her progress. God is great. :)

vandy, i know i'am not that old to be part of all your problems. but being there for me for the past months is something that i treasured the most. Even we are in different locations, time zones, timings are not hindrance for us to share and to care. We do really don't know much to each other but then myLot bridges us to be one and have an open area to discuss what we went through. Its been a great act indeed that your father thinks of you the most.

Sweetie..it doesnt always have to be something that you know about me. It also means being appreciated for our thinking and letting us, who have been going through some tough times, feel we are sane and valued. That means a lot mmgonzales when you feel you are snapping once too often or are losing a lot of the so called friends. You realize that - well - you are not some loony with erratic behavior. You know..and that does loads and loads of good.

Wanted to say please don't give parting speech, but my reluctance has shown me that wasn't your intention at all.
I'm so happy to know about the event (since I read it first, the day you posted, mind you!). And also the follow-through you have written above. Don't know how I helped at all, but still you're welcome!
Latecomers make weird responses.... Happy New Year!

Happy New Year kiddo..
You helped by keeping my mind engaged in something other than self pity and fear. That is what kept me sane. Had I been dwelling only on those two I might have been in some hospital for mental health by this time. Thanks a lot.

vandy...I speak only for myself, as I know I have not been much support, but your "road of ill-will" so often had me reeling with your pain. A loss for words....but I do know, so often, reading---I winged many, many a prayer your way, in hopes of giving you strength and some inner peace! I pray now, that some closure is manifesting...and tranquility is heading your way in abundance! HUGZ!

Oh yes, it is .. and I am sure your prayers had a lot to do with it. My prayers are with you too sweetie..
All of a sudden, I dont seem to have issues...I am calmer, and definitely more composed than I have been for last 30 odd years? Even more...

It's times like this...I am soooooo grateful for "myLot"...some beautiful scenario's it creates...two of my special friends (from worldwide) in one place together..giving support and creedence to each other!
@vandy...dearheart, this is your year, you have shown your strength...and now you will find peace!
@thesids...little bro'--never ever is too late, for your heartfelt good wishes and I am sending them right back at you. 2012, so far, has a few trials...Power out on this little Island for 5 days...I am quite handy and functional without power, BUT the really only isolation I feel is from my wonderful friends here! Hopefully, Old Man Winter has struck his last "blow" (no pun intended, as the outage was due to high winds)and will head on his merry way!

Hi Vandana
I dont know much about all this - honestly. We met here quite late and I missed many of your discussions even after after that. Never mind, but I feel happy for you as things seem to have been sorted out and you stand strong, tall and head-high.
I am not the right person to say this but still, as I feel more at liberty(rather more at home) to share with you - Friends always are patient, and always stand by you at the time of need. This is my belief, me definition of a friend and I am happier if I ever stood by your side and listened to you

dearheart, thesids, this lovely soul, in ALL times of trial and tribulations....STOOD tall and strong--a trooper, a real lesson in "how a great soul" responds under duress...I have learned sooooooo much from "vandana's" demeanor and spirit! I feel so blessed that "vandy" took me under her wing, early in my indulgence at "myLot" and guided me on my way! Thank you, vandy!
And vandy, I have found having the friendship of "thesids" is like living in a warm, kind bubble!

@Vandana: I know a little of all that, and yes, I can understand the pains and frustrations that you were forced to go though... at my age, and the small interaction with - the court cases - it was a traumatic experience and I have seen my late grandfather suffering too. Good that it is now over.

Actually we found some papers (thanks to my ma) which were incriminating enough. He realized that he and my ma were used as pawns (they were forced to get married against their wishes so that properties could be taken away - both were orphans so had nobody else to trust but older sister and brother who embezzled the properties - had my parents married as per their wishes they would have been guided by their respective spouses and their spouses' families so even though my ma was engaged to be married my aunt broke the alliance and forced her to get married to my pa - definite case of undue influence and coercion) and I was defamed apart from being abused. So he wrote a nice big preamble that will point fingers at them should they try to do anything smart with me. It is a registered will so the evidence would be right there out in front of everybody. Now, I am truly touch me not with that. Advocate helped of course. She is such a darling.
