doubt in mechanical turk

Hi, Once I was a reputed member of mTurk with a good repute and earned around $1600 which is unbelievable. But without any reason, suddenly my account was suspended and till I have $218 due to them. If you once suspended at there, they will not entertain you a single reply instead of your hundreds of request. But, I can say you that it is 100% genuine site and pays well. But as far as I know, they do not have any referral system as I had also tried to know my referral link. So there is no referral link. But, I ask you to draw your hard earned money frequently although they charges $4.00 for each withdrawal. Because if you once suspend, you won't get your money back. Also, the company I worked for in mTurk most probably does not exist. So, work there as per your choice. I wish you all the best.

I have an account at mturk and there is no referral system there. You have to be careful though if you are working on HITS because if there are many tasks that you submitted that are rejected the requester can block you from working on their hits again. This can also lower your rating and this would mean that you can only work on less hits especially if some hits require high rating like 95% above. Another thing, if there are 3 requester who block you, most likely mturk will suspend your account. The daily earnings that I got on that site depends on how many hits I have done that were accepted. There are some days that I earn $5 or more and there are other days I earned less than that. I used to work daily on the site but since they only have amazon gift certificate for non-US worker (except for India where they send checks)I only work when there are HITS that I really like. I just buy something out of the gift certificate and mail them to a friend in the U.S. who have an eBay account and she sells the stuffs for me and send me the money to my paypal. I like the site but they they don't have good service for their workers since they can suspend an account and they will just email that you did not follow their TOS and they won't entertain other questions about suspended account. It is a legal site but I don't agree very much with how they operate it especially in terms of payment. Why? Because they accept workers worldwide but they only pay those from India by sending checks and from U.S.through U.S. bank account. I think this is unfair, if they accept workers from other countries, they should have made it possible for those workers to transfer their earnings to their bank account instead of gift certificate. It is hard to buy things from amazon.com site when it is too costly to be sent to your home country. I am not discouraging you from working on the site, I am just sharing my opinion and experiences from working there. Good luck and I hope I was of help to you.

This is a great site, some things are not what you may be able to do, but do what you can do. I use my earnings in Amazon actually I do not get 10 bucks and then cash out to my bank account. I just use what I have on amazon to buy a gift for someone or something like that. The site is great and sometimes you have to be careful, I would not use referrals if you do not have to. I have none actually. I have heard some people getting suspended for some type of actions that they may not have done or maybe they did not know that they did. Good luck to you and hope that you continue using the site, I have made about thirty or so dollars from there, which is because I am not on often anymore. I tell you I was doing a lot of 1 cent tasks.

In Mturk there is no referrals. You can get your money at any time but they will take $4.00 as transaction fee. They will send you check, so clearly mention your physical contact address there.
