I started looking into the economy a couple months ago and started reading things on how the economy is headed for a collapse. I must agree with them because I finally learned what money really is http://www.chrismartenson.com/crashcourse/chapter-6-what-money It's crazy to think that the Federal Reserve can just print money whenever they want and that the US dollar can be replaced whenever the East decides that the dollar is getting too undervalued. I believe that the US dollar will collapse and bring down the economy with it, what do you think?

They are very much chances that the economy might collapse. The problem here is if US goes down then its not going to go down alone its going to take almost every other country with it.The more money the Federal reserve prints the less the dollar value will become as the money would be easily available. You end up paying $5 for an item worth of 1$ as you have money but the resources are limited. Right now the economy is like a huge bubble only God knows when that is going to burst.

If that would be the case then every country would print as much money as they want. The more money you have the less its value will be. The same is the case with natural resources the less they are available the more costly they will be. Right now oil is traded in Dollars as dollars have their value. What if every one has plenty of dollars? Then oil will not be traded in dollars they go for another currency to deal with it. That is how the economy works....

Yes you are right. Devaluation of the country's currency is the main reason for inflation and the steep rise in the costs of the goods as every one has the currency to buy but the goods are not available. That is the present situation in countries like Zimbambwe. This is what happens when the government tries to clear the debts by pumping more money into the market. Always danger for the economy

Completely agree with you. I enjoy how people try to say inflation is the rise of costs for everything when really inflation is the devaluation of the dollar. And yes oil is traded in dollars, so if Germany wants to buy oil from Saudi Arabia, they must convert their currency into the US dollar, give it to Saudi Arabia, then Saudi Arabia would convert the US dollar back to their currency. So if the US keeps devaluing it's dollar, the Germans and Saudis would just decide to trade oil without the US dollar.

I doubt our US government and the millions of economists in the country would let the dollar collapse that easily. I'm more worried about the Euro.

Well the US doesn't want to let the dollar collapse but it has no choice. They can either default on their debt now or just print more money and they are choosing to print more money. China and Japan have already started to trade directly through their currencies and not use the US dollar http://goo.gl/8jVb6 .
The Euro will collapse. I think that is a fact. Since the rich countries loaned to the poor countries who can't pay back the rich countries, that makes the rich countries poor as well. So if the rich countries want to get their money back they will need to start hiking up interest rates, when that happens more poor countries go into debt and they can't pay it off so they will need to hike interest rates up more. The Euro could also collapse if they start printing money again which wouldn't do any good. And if any of the European countries do default on their debts, nobody will loan to them in the future.

I don't understand how the economy of the world most powerful country will collapse in that sense. This might be the reason of greediness of some businessmen because they pocketed the money instead invest in a criteria that people will be benefited...
But we don't do about it because the bible prophesied the economic downturn that there are days that famine and poverty will be feel in every countries of the world...

Reading your post just made me wonder why we can't make too much money when it is the main source of problem. I am going to read the link you sent. I have been living in this world for 29 years now and I still don't know how they make money and all about money. In my opinion US dollar will collapse and yes it will bring down the economy with it.

I agree with you. They print money like crazy to pay for their debts or give themselves more. I do think the economy will collapse if the US dollar does unless the world decides to have one currency and regulates how much is printed every year. However with patriots in all countries that would just cause an issue.

That would basically be how it would play out, one government/agency who would regulate all the money which would mean they would basically control the world. I do think a new currency should be introduced or we should go back to the gold standard to stop the devaluation of the dollar.

However, the present scenario of the economy is looking disappointing, but looking to the considerable reforms making by the developed and developing countries around the globe, there are many positive signs that the world economy will revive strongly in future.

Yes i believe it so that the economy will collapse because, there are many proofs about it,like even the tragedies, many are damage, and people helping and while others have problem about how they move and start back in normal.everything will change, before the prices is low ,and now is getting high and high and people will suffer in many areas.

im not a genius and im still young but from what i see, i think that the euro economy will defintely collapse, for the past few weeks it has been a straight decline and the US dollar is unlikely to decrease significantly in the next few years but the euro will decrease proportionally im sure, it's valuation will probably reach that of US's dollar rate which is indeed very scary keke but the US wont go down that fast if not China atakes over haha

I would say yes, greediness of the people behind the government and those who want to rule the economy.
