Winter is here. The cold winds are blowing. Utility bills are climbing. HEY! MY FEET ARE COLD!! What is it about cold feet that makes the rest of you colder too?? Can one ever feel warm with a pair of cold feet?? If I can get my feet warm, I can drop the house temperature 10 degrees and still be comfortable. What is the most painful torture in the world??? It's when your partner puts their cold feet on you!! Brrrrr!!!! Does this happen to you?? What is the solution to COLD FEET??

I live in part of the world that has temperatures in winters which would be what you must be experiencing in summers may be. :) So cold feet is rare..but still I do have problems with my feet and legs when temperatures get down below certain degree Fahrenheit. My feet tend to twist..and the pain can be really excruciating. I wear two pairs of socks one over the other. It keeps me warm. I have to pull them off when I go to restroom. So I keep about 6 pairs..they are old socks anyway. :)

Warm water bags sounds like our hot water bottle. They do warm the feet nicely. If only they wouldn't grow cold after a while, I would be happier. There are houses that put water pipes in the floor then pump hot water through them. That is supposed to be the most comfortable of all. Maybe one day I'll get that.

My maid though uses a better method. She uses these warm water bags. And she says place your feet on them. It helps. But only the soles..

I just wear socks and thermal at home not convenient but helps somehow this post reminds me of the term cold shoulder :) that one I have been getting when looking for help well I was told I would get help, but then the help is taken away anyway, cold feet-wise, no cold shoulder is cold enough to stop me living my life :)

Cold shoulder??? Hmmm??? How may I help?? You must remember that expert abilities require expert challenges. Perhaps it's your challenges that scare people away rather than you. Still, you are pretty capable without them. Perhaps you just need a good idea. That can show up from almost anywhere. Keep an open heart and mind regardless when people let you down. We wouldn't want that to convince you to change who you really are, now would we?

Wool. Hmmm?? I guess sheep don't get cold. They say wool is the only clothing that insulates even after it is wet. Of course, wool can be a bit itchy. Maybe I'll wear them over a regular pair of socks.

Yes, a nice cup of hot chocolate. Warm that core and those feet warm up too. OK, good idea.

Yes this has happened to me on more than one occasion. My partner and I always seem to be at variance as far as body temperature is concerned. When one is hot the other is cold. A hot water bottle, (a splendid invention), often comes to the rescue on those long cold winter evenings. This would seem to be a solution to the cold feet problem.

Ah yes, the old hot water bottle. They are great only they do have one major problem. They turn cold after a while. Still, they do warm the feet nicely for a time.

Thick slippers or a nice hot rice bag! I have cold feet and they say if your hands or feet are cold the rest of you will be too..and I think that is true. Living in Minnesotas I have several pairs of very warm slippers....

Yes, parts of Minnesota can get down to 50 below zero. If anyone knows how to stay warm, it's you.
