If I drink coffee I have difficulty sleeping at night, but I do love to drink coffee and I usually like it black without any sugar nor cream. I gave up drinking soda a long time ago because they say its not good for you. But sometimes I get to drink soda when there is nothing else available safe to drink.

The caffeine in coffee does normally make you feel a little bit nervous, so that might be the reason that you are feeling nerves every now and again. However, if you're noticing that your anxiety is getting unbearable then you might want to think about cutting back on the amount of tea and coffee that you drink. If you drink a lot of coffee, you should think about switching to tea, as this doesn't contain quite as much caffeine as coffee does so it is a little bit better for you. You should also think about seeing a doctor if you're feeling nervous too much.

i do actually stop drinking coffee for almost 9 mos and just started a few days ago.. but now it reacts different with me that's why i will stop drinking it and it will be a no no for me. Once a month maybe but brewed coffee is maybe great for me. no creams so that it will served as anti-oxidants.
Later i will try tea. maybe green tea will be best..

It really doesn't effect me very much. I think it is because I am so used to it though. When my b/f drinks it, he gets jittery though. I have heard of people being nervous when they have too much caffeine before. I am not sure what to do about that...maybe a small bit of milk would help.

Does the coffee made it for me or im just too keen not to be think of people? Haisst what a waste of time i had. I cant clear my head..

Hi mmgonzales,
I don't think there is not so much relation with your nervous and the coffee which you had in your young age, it may have small impact. To reduce your nervous keep yourself fit and try to do some yoga or meditiation. Keep focusing in some work and don't be idle for long time.
Cheer up, nervous can avoided if you think postively.
Have a nice year ahead. Happy days are still there for you !

I drink 2 or 3 coffee's every day. Are day's when i drink 4 coffee's but these day's are only when i have time cause i have a lot to study for schooll. I love to drink coffee with my friend's when a have the ocasion. From november i feel nervous from the smallest thing to the big and some people makes it more complicated when i'm nervous. I have decided to reduce the coffee that i drink in one day and see if there are some changes.

Yeah, I think caffeine does gets you a bit edgy. I actually haven't felt nervous but I do get edgy and a bit jumpy when say unexpected things happen like the phone ringing suddenly or a door closing a bit loud. I guess I can't do anything about it at that point except to remind myself to lessen my coffee intake :)

I'm not a coffee-drinker but I'm really born to be a nervous girl. I feel fear in crossing highways, going tall places, talking to strangers and etc. There are also times that it attacks me even though there's no definite reason. I don't know why that happened, but what I did was I listened to classical Christmas songs, instrumental or love songs and those that sounds peaceful. It did gave a relief! Makes you feel like floating and removes tension! Swear!

Hi mm
I am a coffee addict and i always have at least three times of large cup everyday but i can say that i don't feel what you are feeling. My father also drink lots of coffee everyday but i can't see any reaction in his behavior.
I think it has nothing to do with drinking coffee.
Maybe you have a very tight schedule and felt stress everyday that is why you are mistaking coffee to have effect on you.

I love drinking coffee and I think it does not affect my sleep nor does it make me more nervous :) Maybe you tend to think too much on things and that results to the feeling you mentioned. I do not make a situation complicated by simply separating facts from fiction and that results to me not being nervous or my worry being lessened. Easier said than done, right? But this works for me :)

I am a renowned coffee addict. I usually drink 2-3 cups a day. So far, I haven't experienced what you had but if your heart palpitates fast when you drink coffee maybe you have low tolerance for caffeine. If you can't really resist it, I suggest you add milk or coffee creamer to your usual coffee mixture and see if it makes any difference. Good luck!

Hi
The coffee and all drinks with cafeine gives you an extra energy and helps you to wake up in the morning and maybe even concetrate in various tasks during the day.
But some times too much coffee can cause sleeping problems and makes you nervous, just like you feel.
I do not know if the really sourse of your problem is coffee or something else so i suggest you to visit a doctor and talk about your problem.
Or you can try out to reduce the coffee consumption and see if your mood changes. If you feel more relaxed then your problem is the coffee.

I don't feel nervous after drinking the coffee. As many people feel, I will be energetic and awake all the time. Sometimes I will be even sleepless at night. Coffee really works well for me. This is why I am afraid to drink it although I like it. Since I have to consider that I may need a longer time to fall asleep at night.
I love China

I actually cut it off last year by alternate it with milk, but because I am a frugal mom and milk is so expensive that I need to cut off the budget I go back to drinking coffee again, well it feels addictive and makes me energetic for the day but I hope that I can cut it off again, because I am finding it hard to sleep early at night

I like to drink coffee but so far I haven't feel nervous when I drink coffee.I don't have a hard time taking sleep even though I drink a cup of coffee at night.
I like the aroma and taste of it.
