Please pray for my children

I guess this is as good of a place as any to ask for prayer. Please pray for my boys! Their father, my ex-husband, has a lot of issues. One of them is pills. He is addicted to many different kind of prescribed drugs. He has a back problem and it has led to this.
Anyway, making a long story short.. They are still visiting him for the holidays. Today, they couldn't wake him. My younger boys ages 10 and 11 were with him. My oldest son lives with him but wasn't present when this happened.
Now their father is on a ventilator and my heart is breaking for my children. They are two hours away and my oldest son, he's 18, has been by his dad's bedside since this happened earlier today.
Luckily, I do have two sisters that are there helping out with my boys. We don't have anymore information yet. Don't know if it was an overdose, a stroke or what. In the meantime, please pray. My poor boys are heartbroken. Pray that the Lord will bring them comfort no matter what happens.
And please pray for me.. I need wisdom and strength to make the right choices for them during these trying times.

This is terrible news to hear. Your poor boys, not only have they had to deal with the repercussions of their father taking pills, but they had to find their father unresponsive. I will surely pray for them, that they don't lose their father, that they someday understand what this habit did to him. I pray for him that he recovers and can turn his life around and I pray for you. Becuase at one point you cared about that man are probably hurt by what is happening too, and because it woudl be awful to watch your children suffer through such a thing.
